Hi all,Virtual MK airlines a virtual cargo operation with a main base at Manston, Kent, UK will be opening its doors on 01/01/2003.Based around the operations of its real world counterpart operating two 747-200F, two 747-400F and three DC8-63Fs. For fun and a change we added two BAE 146-300F and a Dash 7F.Our routes are charters which change monthly, and we appreciate pilots coming up with their own interesting routes for the following month.www.vmkworld.co.ukC ya

Hello all,Just a brief post to let you all know about a "real world pilots" aviation club that I have started with a pilot colleague of mine. I am a student JAR-FCL pilot at Cambridge Airport (EGSC) in the UK and have formed a virtual club, centered around Cambridge in the UK with Tim Westnutt, a real world pilot/cargo/courier freight operations director. The club already boasts many members, from student PPL (National), JAR-FCL through instructors to Commercial ATPL pilots. We use the club as a virtual meeting point to share and enjoy our passion for aviation using standard web based tools such as a portal and forum etc plus our own unique voice based communications ser…

Hello, Do you want to fly for a virtual airline that caters to the virtual pilot? At Continental Airlines Virtual you are not a number! We will limit each hub to just 20 pilots and have a waiting list of 10. We do not have pilot rankings as we feel you should fly what you want to fly! Check us out and thanks for looking. http://www.midexvirtual.org Best Regards!

It's here at last. I've just released UKRoute Version 1.0. This is an electronic version of the Standard Route Document for flying IFR in the UK. It is available for download from www.hawarden.org.uk/ .Just look in the download section. Be sure to download its accompanying file which is the data for this airac cycle . . yes it will be updated every airac with "Real World Nav Data". An absolute must if your'e going to fly online. I'm hoping this will be adopted by VATSIM-UK as the definitive flight planner for flying IFR in the UK.ThanksGrahamBTW its freeware ;-)

Just to let everyone know that Old Dominion has moved to a new server, and has a 'new' look to it. Yet the mission of Old Dominion remains the same, that is, a vintage aircraft Virtual Airline recreating the style of pilotage and the routes flown from the period of the late 1920's to the late 1950's.This VA has grown a bit since its opening in August of 2002, so anyone having looked it over back then, would be in a for a nice surprise today.THe new URL is, http://users.firstva.com/markt/Stop by and have a look around the company hangar and feel free to walk amongst the venerable birds of yesteryear....everyone is welcome to visit!Thank you for your time.Mark ThomasPreside…

I repaint airplanes for a virtual airline. Part of the Va's regional fleet uses a SAAB 340B. I can't find a GOOD GMAX version of this plane to repaint. Is there a good GMAX SAB 340B currently availble? Psd had one nearly finished before they closed shop but I have not seen any others with FULL moving parts. Thanks,I'd Rather Be Flyin'iFLYrc

Good day guys! First time to post in this forum, so before anything, greetings! ;)I was thinking about this: What do people really look for in a VA?1. The airline's theme 2. The corporate ladder3. The simming for a purpose4. The sense of belonging5. To be somebody in the FS world6. The routes and aircraftAnd what do most people prefer to be in:1. A big, sexy VA like united2. a romantic go-anywhere charter?Any input from you guys would be highly appreciated!cheers,http://www.mydestiny.net/~michael8/genavbanner.gif
