I've read quite a few posts about ai flight time issues andhave a fairly good understanding of the @ / non @ aspects.I've read and reread the lengthy discussions on PAI.Up till this point I have used Jim Vile's suggestion tosubtract 200 from the cruise_speed and that gave somewhatbetter ai spacing than the fixed 200. Hi EveryoneI'm currently using Project AI with TTools and would like to know how to change the name and location of an airport. I've been trying to change the airport VTBD to VTBS and also changing the lats and longs because, obviously, the airports are at different locations.I keep getting the same error when trying to compile in TTools. The message says: VTBS,N13* 41.14'E100* 44.94',5Longitude format is bad, expecting something like W118* 21.43' or W118* 21' 10"(Also the 5 at the end is where the error is occuring)How can I fix this?

HiSome of my AI do a 270 degree turn after pushback which looks rather stupid. Is it possible to set the direction an AI aircraft turns after pushback from a gate. Also what determines the distance the aircraft travels before it turns. I also have a problem with AI that departs at approximately the same time running through each other. IE one pushing back and another on the adjoining taxiway.Keith

I am making AI Traffic for the ALPHA sim carrier ENTERPRISE.I have these two problems:1. Some planes land as if they were doing touch and gos and ATC control asks them to contact ground while these have left the deck and continue flying straigh ahead.2. I have a question about aircraft and parking codes:In the fltsim.x section, there is the entryatc_parking_codes=where you can define which airline code to put inIs it possible to put multiple codes here? i.e. EGF, AALX or something?The reason for me wanting ot do this is that I installed my AI aircraft (particularly regional airlines) with specific codes such as SKW for Skywest, or EGF for Eagle Flight, etc. I felt this was a more powerful way to cordon traffic to certain parts of the airport with AFCAD.However, there are many AFCADs out there which make use of the "old style" -X appendage, example AALX or UALX to denote any "regional" sub-airline of a major carrier. I'm currently working on a traffic file decompiler for FSX. However, all I have to work with is the demo traffic file. I don't have access to the beta. While I am finding the differences between that file and FS9 traffic files, I don't know if the FSX beta files or the actual FSX traffic files will be the same as the demo.In any case, my initial goal is to create a decompiler that can be used with the traffic compiler in the FSX SDK. It will also decompile FS9 traffic bgl files into the SDK text file format. At least then I'll be able to transfer my existing FS9 traffic files over to FSX. I am away from home and would like to locate the add-on which shows for all AI traffic in a FS session the aircraft type, the from-to flight plan, altitude, etc.Have searched all through the various forums and file libraries with no result.Unfortunately my memory is not helping any - I recall it would be started from within FS.Any assistance or information would be greatly appreciated.Clarindo

Has anyone made or know of an afcad for Paul Clawson's CV-2 USS Lexington carrier in the San Diego area?I would like to put some AI Traffic on that.

The airports.dat file has the following comment:# AirspaceClass = airport's ICAO airspace class: B, C, D, or GWhat use does FS make of this and why is Class A omitted?The Heathrow (EGLL) CTR is Class A but is shown as Class B in airports.dat.

Are the time that are called out in the flightplans text the local time or the GMT time at the location? For VFR flights are the times the time that the A/C will contact ground? For IFR flights are the times the time that the aircraft will contact clearance control? I am confused. Thanks and best regards, Bob.

I down load files to use with Traffic Tools, MRAI etc and you have the aircraft, airport and flightplan text files for compiling, but what are these text files as these below, which are so familiar (these are part of Group Air France):su06_airfrance_AFRsu06_Airlinair_RLAThey do not show up in the TT installer and I have no idea how to deal with them. Hi again,I am a few steps away from completing my AI flight plan for Air Berlin but have a problem with some connection flights. E.g., flight #8218 from Dusseldorf/DUS to Hurghada/HRG has 1 stop at Luxor/LXR, i.e. DUS -> LXR -> HRG. Although, the actual timetable shows only flight from DUS to HRG and no scheduled flight between LXR and HRG. It seems that Air Berlin doesn't have any scheduled flights between LXR and HRG and a different airline is operating these flights for them, which is not mentioned in the timetable but quite possible in reality with so many connection flights between various airports. However, it seems that the FS9's traffic algorithm is absolute…

For whatever reason, AFCAD 2 will not start and hangs until I finally have to shut the program down. I am using FS2004. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

HiI have recently modified an AFCAD file for YBBN to allow for crosswind runways as per the PAI instructions.YBBN has 01/19 and 14/32.Now ai aircraft land on both runways. However the problem is that ai aircraft now ignore wind direction and always use runway 19 for takeoffs. I reloaded the same AFCAD file without the crosswind modification and they use the correct runways for departure based on wind direction. So it seems adding the crosswind modifation has changed the use of the active runway.Any ideas on how to fix this?Thanks

I have been looking for around two days now and am trying to find something I had downloaded before I had to swipe my hard drive. It was a full package of all Project AI's aircraft but it was hosted on another site. I hate to post such a stupid question but as i am going to school I can't just spend all day looking. Help at wits end I for some reason can not make a AI flight I did it once but know it will not work I did it using the AI easy document. Does anyone know how to add a runway to a carrier which does not have any through Afcad2?I have managed to add AI traffic to aircraft carriers that already had an afcad2 and some traffic, but I want to add AI Traffic to a carrier which has no afcad runway and parking spots etc...

Hello,I'm trying to do something but it doesn't look that easy. I've developed a program which works and simulates some aircrafts. However, I don't have any graphic interface then, I would like to send my data to Flight Simulator. Let's say that I'd pilote a plane and that my simulator could tell FS what to do with the others.
