Hi, I'm using FS9, along with Ultimate Traffic. I've new to Traffic Tools, but will just 'delve-in' here and see what happens :) Long after building my own single-runway AFCAD airport (located in West Michigan), then RWY-12 for scenery, I found it 'fairly' easy to use TTools and add A/I traffic to my airfield. 'yRoute' util helped me build the A/I plans. After adding A/I flights, Traffic-Tools traffic works fine, except I see one problem; although all A/I aircraft 'flights' work well, almost all AC are duplicates of the same type of aircraft. Gentlemen,As I become more proficient with TTools, I would like to be able to have a particular aircraft (Cherokee paint3) depart and arrive at a particular parking space. Is this possible and how do I do this?Thanks,

Hi Forum Members, I really appreciate the work done by the AI traffic developers. I've all the leading airways AI Traffic. I reside in India so I would love to see my country's AI Traffic at the Indian Airports.I'd installed the Jet Airways AI Plan, one of the leading airlines in India in my FS 2004 successfully. I've other base models, textures and flight plans of other Indian Airliners, which i'd installed in my FS2004, but unfortunately they dont work. i wanted to tell you all that for Jet Airways the traffic file has become traffic.bgl as i'd deleted the original file. For other Airliners the traffic file is eg. Traffic_AirIndia.bgl for Air India. Can …

Thanks for the help, i know all the steps for installing an AI Flight, I've successfully installed Jet Airways, but i'm unable to install other indian airline carriers. The Flightplans i've downloaded for Jet Airways is Summer'05. And for other Airliners i've Winter'05 plans, so is this the reason for failure of my instalation????

I am using Ultimate Traffic, but want to compile additional traffic for an airport (Innsbruck LOWI). 1. Can I compile an additional bgl file and copy it into the the fs9 scenery folder where the default traffic is at? I am exploring the the option to place the traffic.txt file in the additional traffic folder and have UT compile it all into one. 2. Is there a tool for building the traffic file with a GUI that will let you type in a form? 3. IF you have flight info about departing and arriving flights to Innsbruck, will you send it to me at [email protected] ?I have the Welcome Air and Austrian schedules off of the Innsbruck site. To all my fellow flightplan developers using the MRAI Compiler...please please please take the extra few minutes to generate a zip that's compatible with the MRAI installer as well. It's very easy using MRAIGen, you don't necesarily need the logo files and such. I know from experience that the generation step takes a while and once you have a compiled result it's tempting to zip it up and get it out the door, but the extra few minutes you take to do just a little more would save the rest of us untold hours in matching up aircraft to the flightplans. :-)Denny

Hi , I seem to be at a stop point with Flightplans for AI I compiled the data for the MRAI compiler as stated on the readme.Pity this readme is not complete .I run the data through the MRAI compiler it looks like the line shownAC#,BD321,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/06:30,@1/07:45,360,F,0050,EGPH, I use the MRAI GEN and all is ok. When I use the MRAI install wizard all appears ok until TTools starts. I assume the MRAI install is not assigning the aircraft numbers.I cannnot check this as the file closes. Does the MRAI installer assign the aircraft numbers instead of just#?? Do I now have to assign them manual!!! Any Ideas Grateful, Regards, Atkin.

Hey Everyone Could someone please tell me how to make aircraft use multiple holding points as opposed to all the aircraft queing at one.Also do you know how to stop the aircraft disappearing when they are stood for to long, like when waiting to take off.Thanks Steve

My MRAI Installer has quit generating .bgl files and now generates three .txt files instead - Aircraft, Airports and Flightplans.Have re-installed the program [v1.23 and v1.24]but get the same result.Has anyone got a cure ???????????Thankyou,Trev Palmer.

Hey,I am looking for a set of TWA AI schedules. I know that I used to have them and for the life of me I can not find them anymore. I know that they were from the year 2001 and the package included both TWA and TWE in both daylight savings time and standard time. Hi everyone,I have been working on trying to get a Coast Guard Cutter to sail around the coast guard base here at kodiak. I have my afcad setup and have successfully installed the ai ship to show up in flightsim but it just sits at the pier and won't move. Hi,I ran into a problem which (I think) even Holger Sandmann has not yet solved.Trying to make an AI plan for a speedboat (see jetfoil configuration topic), I faced the taxi speed limit of some 20 kts while taxiing to the 'runway'.The only solution would be in my opinion to let the vessel take off, but without climbing. (Holger's solution is to not have the ship take off at all).Unfortunately, setting the flight level to zero in TTools, prevents the ship from taking off but makes it continue to roll in a straight line without bothering to stop at the next 'airport'.Somebody wrestling with the same problem?Robystar

Hi,Searching to setup a Jetfoil as AI Ship, I encounter a lot of strange results. I run FS2002 and have two problems:1. The effects and the wake are not displayed as they should (see screenshot);2. On one configuration, I can let run the Jetfoil at a speed of 50 kts... but also no effects or wake to see.I think there must be a trick about the altitude, maybe the ship is not hight enough on his "shoes".Can someone give some help, please ? I'm currently creating flightplans for a certain well-known aircraft ;) and I am trying to get it to take off from its home base, fly to 3 other airfields, do a flypast rather than land and then return to home and land. Hey Gents,I have an airstrip on a very low island (essentially at sea level). Problem is, when a plane lands there, it shows in the sim as being seven feet above the runway. It just looks like it's floating there....When I consulted the map view, it onfirmed I was at 7 agl.A closer look at AFCAD shows the airstrip at 0 feet, so why would the plane be floating there?Any ideas?

Worked fine. Thought it would be nice to have some army vehicles as well. Hello,I've researched this topic as well as I could, but the answer still eludes me.I'm attepting to add some C-141's doing Touch-n-Go's to Wright-Patterson AFB, but for some reason, when specifying VFR in the flightplan, the traffic will not show up.I started from scratch with HT's C-141B model for AI, the stock Airports.txt, and some hand-written FP's. Nothing I did would make the darn traffic appear... I checked my AFCAD's, the parking codes, the FP's, I tried using the default 737-400, I changed airports, I removed the "TNG" prefix, and it STILL didn't show up...Out of desperation, I tried making them IFR instead, and joila! They they were. But they fly huge patterns …

I know TTools creates shortcuts to the flight plan list and the aircraft list. I want to find the location of these files in the FS9 folder.In the event I had to uninstall-reinstall the game, I want to know where they are. This way, I can copy the modified files out of the game, then copy them back into a reinstalled game.Thanks for any advice.Rick (KMKE)

When I go to compile flightplans traffic tools crashes with some type of error. I delete everything and reinstall traffic tools 2.02 in a seperate folder and I still come up with the same result, it crashes when I go to compile flightplans.

Hi simmers,i'm a new user of this forum so i'd like start with a question...I usually fly with Alitalia (AZ) and i've installed alitalia flight planes from PAI packages...Is there a possibility to delete for a specific session the AI-alitalia fly which is concomitant (starting at the same time) with my (user) fly?...I give you an example:Fly from LIML to LIRF with AZ2071 MDDouglas starting LIML at 3.00 pm...at same time AI starts fly AZ2071 LIML-LIRF with its AI aircraft...how can I delete this AI fly just for interested session so i'm able to fly only with my aircraft?Can TTools help me? I am working on a global AI package using planes of the 1930s. All flightplans are set VFR which was pretty much the mode of flying for most of that decade. My problem is that the aircraft often switch from VFR to IFR irrespective of how the flights are set by me. At first I thought that it was happening when visibilty was low or the weather was rough but after watching the AI closely I can see nothing obvious causing them to suddenly switch from VFR to IFR. The flightplans were created using the MS SDK. I have decompiled the flightplans to check and all flights show as VFR, weird. Does anyone use Traffic Toolbox SDK, for MSFS? If so, you know that you use "TrafficDatabaseBuilder.exe" to create/change the traffic parameters. But every time I click on "TrafficDatabaseBuilder.exe" nothing will come up. Command lines are supposed to appear. Can anyone help me? ;-)Sincerely,B. Glass

Okay, guys I'm stumped. I have a mix of UT and MRAI traffic, as well as GA traffic. I have somehow lost all landing and approaching aircraft. I have plenty of departing and enroute, but no airports have any aircraft landing(on approach). Even if I sit there and watch for over an hour. Some extra info, traffic at 100% and mostly flying in USA.Does anyone have any suggestions?warm regards,JW

I have tried unsuccessfully to get FS9 to use both runways at TJSJ. I have used AFCAD2 and closed runway 8 for landings and open for take off. I closed runway 10 for take off and open for landings. FS9 still uses runway 8 for take off and landing resulting in a traffic backup on rwy 8.Does this occur because the rwys are not perfrectly parallel? Any suggestions on how to fix this.
