"I was not online, it was my AI, and right behond it was a Cessna cleared for the same, and they did it!!! This is my first post in the forum, so i must say a big Greek "hello" to all of you first! :) Last week, i 'm fixing up my new traffic files with Greek airliner's (Olympic, Aegean etc) real flight plans. (Lee Swordy, thank you for your precious TTools!)The only problem untill this moment, is with the flights between Athens LGAV and Chania's (Crete) LGSA, that in any case and with any type of a/c give a 3 hours flight vs the real 1/2-1 hour!!!Really mysterious problem and i have no idea what to do with this, trying with some changes but seems to be no solution for this destination...P.S.: And the big disappointment after a hard week with notepads, and numbers, and codes, a…

Would anybody have a solution to this please. I've been tinkering with an CAD file for Manchester (EGCC)though I flag runway 24 left as closed for landing, ATC still gives clearence to land visual.I closed 24 R for takeoff, this seems to work, it's very frustrating and I cant work out why it will not behave.Thanks in advanceAsh

I created two random airports with taxiways, 1 runway, and GA parking spots. I then created a flightplan using AI Flight Creator (VFR, 3000 feet, with two legs. On the first I set it from Airport 1 to Airport 2. On the second, Airport 2 to 1. I set the departure times different by 1 hr. When I load up FS, the traffic just sits there on the ramp and does nothing. Any ideas? Hi folks.I'm trying to use FS to teach my students the different TCAS warning messages and the proper pilot responses. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of freeware TCAS gauges and I don't think any work is needed there at all.However, the only way I get TCAS Resolution Advisories or Traffic Advisories is by me chasing AI airliners around the sky. As you can imagine, this isn't very practical training. Ideally, I should be able to control an AI aircraft so that it appears and flies into my path according to certain parameters. Using MS Traffic tools SDK, after starting the sim, I can go to each alphasim AI F-111 i Created using GA-Traffic, and extend the wings and flaps, close the weapons bay doors, etc. This is alot to do just too get a nice looking base to take off from. Is there a way to apply these changes so it start up this way each time, Thanks

Hi everyone. I am hoping someone can help me. I installed PAI's military packages using their installer. Looks like everything installed OK. But here is the problem. At a number of airbases, I am seeing no traffic. I made a simple tng FP for a C141 at KJFK.At the correct time, the C141 will taxi ,t/o do a series of T&Gs, and land, then taxi back in. If I do the same thing at either KADW or KLTS (Altus AFB) the ac never shows up. I have set a couple of spaces to Gate with no code requirement. Changed the AC ato reflect the same parking requirements, but still nothing. 13000 runway. The only common thread to the aiports is that neither have any parking spaces in …

I have over 1700 flightplans that are set up for just 5 aircraft. I would like to spread these flightplans over 14 aircraft. Does anybody know of an utility program that will ramdomly take the 14 AC# in the Aircraft.txt file and evenly spread them over the flightplans. AITM-2 does not seem to support this function or I can't figure out how to get it to do what I want. Any help greatly appreciated.

Anybody know why when you asign a parking code for a specific aircraft another aircraft type parks in its spot? For instance, I've got a bunch of F-16's assigned using the same parking code as in the .cfg...who parks there instead? A KC-135 and a C-141. Hi,I use Arrestor Cables 2.53 and FSUIPC 3.470 registred with the Waikato aircraft carrier. The catapult works fine, but the cables don't catch my aircraft. I tried nearly everything. I always press F11 to restart ArrCables before I land, but they don't catch it!! Just for checking if my flight skills are the problem here ;) I drove over them slowly but it didn't work neither. I use Ultimate Traffic, but occaisionally, I like to generate traffic for a particular airport.I have never been able to do this sucessfully. I have not seen this question answered in the forum or in the TT help file so hope someone can clue me in.What criteria does FS use to determine if the aircraft is GA or an Airline? Is is possibly determined by the AC# (a certain range is considered to be GA) or is there some other clue in the flightplan itself?Feedback will be appreciated.

I have a quite comprehensive fixed wing AI traffic on my FS9. I would like to complete this AI traffic with helicopters. I have downloaded the AIHeli packages 1 and 2 from Hovercontrol but they are for 2002 and their AFCAD heliports are not compatible with FS9. I decided to use TrafficTool and test as AI aircraft the stock Bell 206 JetRanger. I always program a touch and go flight plan in TrafficTool when I test an Ai aircraft to make sure it will be present and moving as soon as I open the airport. The Bell never showed up. When I tested at the same airport any fixed wing aircraft in my library, AI or not, they all showed up except for the helicopters. Is there a magic …

Hi fellow Simmers,I'm fairly new to AI. I have done some reading and tinkering but am very green.I have installed several Projectai liveries in seperate files and they work fine. So, I decided I would try to make a few changes in parking to KRDU using AFCAD to prepare for some international traffic I envision. There were maybe four to six empty Heavy parking spaces at KRDU so I added AMX (Aeromexico) and SAA and BAW to those spaces. I've been using Flight Sim Manager (FSM) and decided to try it with my AI traffic. I did not import all the PAI liveries already installed on my PC using the PAI installer into FSM. Hi everyone,I'm new to ttools and AI, but have manged to produce several successful files.I now have a flightplan, which has several aircraft as vfr tng's, and some as IFR tng's.All aircraft take off normally, but the vfr tng aircraft, land, slow down, and then take so long to takeoff again, that they end up skipping over the fields.Does anyone know of a way to get the vfr tng aircraft, to lift off earlier on a tng?Thanks in advance,Tomcat.

Hey guys,Is it at all possible to have Helos as AI?Because I've made a flight plan that i usually use C-130s for but i changed it to Hueys instead. But now when i start up there are no AIr Craft at the Air Port like the norm. Are Helos not allowed to be AI?I even took a look in AFCAD and made sure there was parking for em. You can't make Heli pads in AFCAD so i thought you might not need em.Help much appreciated :)

Hello gentlemenI downloaded the great aircraft carriers from Ian Thatcher on avsim (aircraft_carriers.zip) and I wondered if it was possible to put on a flight plan for it.For example by creating with afcad 2 fictious sea bases.In that case what would the parking radius value be in afcad?How large must be the runway? Right now KOAK only lands and departs on the Intl runway 29/11. This means I have GA aircraft(AI and player) causing bottle necks on 29 when the smaller aircraft(including business jets) should be landing the 27/09s. Granted the business jets are supposed to depart on 29/11 but thats for noise abatement which I wont worry about in-sim.So will TTools allow for the simulataneous approachs on the two sets of runways? Will ATC automatically route the smaller traffic to the smaller 27/09s? Will I be able to set something in TTools that will designate the 27/09s for GA and smaller jets(maybe a gross weight limit)? Is there a way to make the business jets or heavier GA depa…

Hi all,is there a way to batch decompile all of my traffic.bgl's? I tried to use the switches Ttools allows within a .bat file, but up to now to no avail.AITM seems to have that ability, although somewhat limited. Hello All,I would like to increase GA traffic at the airport where I learned to fly as a youngster, but the more I read in this Forum, the more intimidated I get. So far I've downloaded and read several tutorials, each one of which seems to recommend more tutorials. I'm flying FS2002 with about 150 a/c now. I remember how timid I was about installing 3rd party a/c, and messed up many at the beginning, but now think nothing of changing instruments, radios and panels or changing config or air files.
