    I am using Airport for Windows V.30 Build 192 in Windows 7.SCASM v. 2.96FSX AccelerationI am trying to edit a scenery file that I had saved prior to Windows 7.I can edit the file OK and save it under a new name.However when I compile the resulting SCASM .SCA file, it write a proper .sca file, the compiler seems to be doing its thing, but it does not compile it at all, the .BGL file remains at 0 byte.Is there a solution to this problem.Is there a way to import a file created with Airport for Windows into Sbuilderx 313.Thank you for your help.

    Hi all it's my first post :),I've recently made a re-design of Skiathos (LGSK) in Greece for FSX using ADE 9x. With my FSX i'm also using UTX. I have an issue that the old exterior boundary for the old airport still remains. At first there was the fence itself and the perimeter, now it's just the perimeter. This is a bit of a problem for me as not only does it keep the old scenery ground texture in a larger space than needed, the old perimeter crosses over water because i'm using UTX and this causes a raised area of water which is aesthetically disgusting.     Hi folks,I am interested in making a very basic piece of scenery for FS9 - basically a small hill. It cannot be a normal mesh because it has to exist inside of an airport (with all it's excludes etc) in between two runways. Currently I have added a 'hill' by making two flatten statements in the scenery.cfg which cause the mesh to bleed through in the middle of the airport but this is an inelegant solution which sometimes gives g3d.dll crashes (I suspect it's the hill anyway)...I have seen sceneries where there are 3D polygons for snowdrifts etc and think this is the kind of thing I need to make - a lump in the airport which has a texture (seasonal would be even better but…

    How do you add (and adjust level of) vehicle traffic using ADEX?I have tried adding vehicle taxipaths outside of aprons with default Traffic Scalar of 0.7 (in Airport Properties), but cannot see any traffic.

    Aloha from PHOG,I have been designing FS9 landclass for some time and now am trying to get the tools together for FSX. The only tool I am missing is something like the Cell Grid by Richard Ludowise. His program was very useful for accurate landclass design. It makes it possible to see exactly where the landclass texture will be placed.Does anyone know of a cell grid like program for FSX. I live on Maui and am ready to improve the landclass so that it will be much closer to what I see out here. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Chip1

    Hello,I have been searching the forums for this answer. How do I put a working rotating beacon on top of an object such as a control tower or water tower? I have placed them before using the rotating beacon tutorial available in many of these scenery design forums. But those are already on a small stand. The objects in Instant scenery do not seem to light up at night. I use Instant Scenery and ADE9 as my main scenery addition programs. A search in the forums shows this topic came up a few years ago but all the links in those topics are not working. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance,Ken

    Okay i tryed to make photoreal scenery for FSX using SBuilderX and i cant do it because im missing some files that i cant download. i followed instructions from fsdeveloper.com and i made the photoreal scenery but i cant compile it because i dont have a program that only exists in FSX Deluxe edition or somthing like that. I am updating a stock FSX airport using ADEX and have extended the runway, moving the start of runway object with the extension.I am using WOAI traffic solely for my AI traffic, and I see one of the AI aircraft does not move to the end of the extended runway to do a U-Turn. It appears the aircraft is turning where the runway previous ended :( What have I missed or done incorrectly?

    Hello,I am using the wbkk_mw.zip (http://library.avsim.net/zipdiver.php?DLID=117076) AFCAD file, and am finding my aircraft does not descend lower than 80 feet on the ILS 02 runway approach. Consequently, the aircraft overshoots the runway unless I set the engines to idle at 80 instead of 50 feet.Do you know why is this, and how can it be fixed with Airport Design Editor X?

    I used to know the answer to this one but it has been 3 years since I flew FSX.I downloaded a pacific island set of scenery that is supposed to be FSX compatible.The trees on the islands have black squares around them.   21. Hi,I am trying to line up my different faces on the .BMP file on my GMAX polygon. Each time i drag an edge, as soon as i click to drag the next one, the previous one resets into it's original postion, this is real frustrating.     I am just wondering, is there a way to set an ai airline gate priority in a parking spot.For example, i would like to use gate A for a particular airline and gate B for that airline as well, but ONLY if gate A is occupied already.Can you put something in the parking code section to create these prioritys?I seem to recall from my FS2004 days that you could put something before the parking code you want to use, a number or something, that would say to only use this spot if the other one is occupied.I have been out of the loop for many years in FS and am slowly trying to remember it all!Help would be greatly apprectiated!ThanksBeau

    I am noticing a lot of aircraft landing at YBCG (coolangatta) and landing WAY short of the runway. When I am watching them, they seem to be going fine then all of a sudden they drop to 0 and bounce along the ground all the way to the runway.I am using airport facilitator X to edit my airport files, and in this example, i extended to runway to match the correct length. Have i forgotten something that is causing the planes to land short?CheersBeau
