I find it quite strange.

A wrong bind does not lead to the "engine malfunction" message of MSFS2024 with SU4 what we see since the release of SU4 for the first time. I fly with exactly the same setup since years and i had already 2 engine "fail" stutdowns with different aircraft of this style after SU4. Not a single one in the 20 years before. And on reddit you will find more of these without a good explanation.

Meanwhile (since release of SU4) there are many reports in forums with sudden engine shutdowns. Many reports on reddit for example. I see reports from vanilla C152 to the PMDG 737, happens in any aircraft. I think this is a bug introduced with SU4 (deactivating engine damage in the options helps), but this is obviously so random, that no one sees a pattern so far 😄

Fellow flyers, how do you manage descent in the A319? Its a fast little torpedo. I need to open the speedbrakes nearly over the complete descent and even then im sometimes too fast in the final approach. What is best / common practice? - Program the ILS capture altitude already one waypoint early so to have time to slow down at the very end? (if allowed of course) - Switch always to open descent and then take full speed brakes? - other solutions? Im curious on the answers.

My dream is a Twin Otter in Blacksquare quality. But im also looking forward to the Caravan. 😅

No answer on my support request @Avia and here no sign of any official contact anymore. Is the software abandoned? Is there any support?

For both aircraft, the entries EnableDataBroadcast=1 EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1 EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1 are set. Doesnt work. Screen of CDU on the ipad stays black.

I have opened a support mail/ticket but no response so far. Thats why i post here. Using AviaCDU since years with MSFS2020 with the PMDG 737. Now with MSFS2024 and the 737-800 i cant get it to work. Avia Server (last version) is running, connection is there, buttons work - but the screen is staying black (so the CDU is displayed, but with a black screen inside it). Tried with two different ipads. Browser is Safari. Edit: Happens with the 777 CDU, too.

With my system which is quite similar i have around 60-90 fps in that situation (with DLSS "quality"). There is definitively something wrong on your system. All drivers up-to-date? Nvidia 591.59? CPU cool?

Yes, interesting for flying summer flights when its actually winter. Gives flexibility. But how can i tell SimBrief that i do a summer flight with "typical" weather instead of taking the live winter weather now?

Hello Pilots, currently this bird is in a "sale" for ~15 EUR. Worth it or not? I love Cessnas. Any dealbreaking bugs known?

I use the LG 42 C2 since years. Its a TV, has G-Sync, OLED, 144 Hz and costs half of a computer monitor with the same features. Plus the cockpit has nearly the original size 😄

Its already fun to adjust the correct cabin temperature 😄

Guys, these two aircraft are unbelievable. The look, the sound (!), the feel, the tablet, the functions...oh my goodness. i dare to say the best GA aircraft i ever experienced since flight simming. a big WOW!

Anybody else having problems to update? Fenix installer always stops with ~26 mb left - nothing happens anymore.
