Isle of man is also served by Easyjet so get an A320 into EGNS. Bristol EGGD coming in from the west RWY09 also feels short as it is slightly down hill.

what do you mean with CAT3 or CAT4 airports? Do you mean the ILS cat 3b? Not sure if the MSFS actually models it to that degree level. They are just ILS's and all have the same accuracy.

I can't find the oprignal post on discord but indeed very helpful. I always had the feeling it shouldn't be approached with a Airbus or Boeing logic, even by the most seasoned airbus driver...

It works best if you put everything in the Community folder, like 2020. Just ignore the other folders (for now).. As per Bert, just put it all in the community folder. But just to double check, there is a way to confirm if MSFS is pointing at the right folders. When you go into Marketplace/My library, click on the settings cog next to the search box. There it states what community folder it is looking at and should be the location where you will find the Community folder. For me it says G:\MSFS2024\Packages. If you open up this folder you will get 5 folders; \Community <-- copy downloads or add-on into this folder only \Community2024 <-- i've the FSS Embrear in there, which was installed via Contrail app and it does appear in the sim. \Official2020 <-- is used by MSFS to download 2020 items from the marketplace which the user chose to download instead of stream. \Offical2024 <-- is used by MSFS to download 2024 items from the marketplace which the user chose to download instead of stream. \Streamed packages <-- is used by MSFS for all streamed packages.

It is normal. Only experience i have is with the Blacksquare King Air. it uses the default 2020 King Air. it is an unofficial bypass whereby you remove the Default 2024 (can also be done via the market place). Then copy both the fs2020 default airplane and the modded folder in your Community folder.

I use Skyvector often. Mostly to get an idea for destinations (mostly to see where interesting weather is). If i only want a point to point flightplan, i make it in Skyvector (sometime i look up the SID's/STAR). Copy that route over in Flightplanner for EFB insertion.

It is not needed anymore. This was a thing about a year and a couple of updates before. When you are in the airplane and you need more control during taxiing, than click on the left pedal.

it's not needed anymore to manually reset it. if you feel taxiing is a a bit vague click on the left pedal.
