X-CODR KDEN Update Inbound
Can anyone tell me (or tell me how to find out) what the United Express gates B-80 thru B-95 are coded and sized? For some reason I can't get any AI traffic to park at these gates. You will typically find UALX (SkyWest) CRJ200s parked at these gates. I'm also trying to get Denver Air Connection ERJs to park over at the end of the C Gates. I love this scenery but I'm trying to increase the realism by having the regional carriers park at the correct spots. Thanks!

Which airport addon would you like to see, and why?
KGMU. My home airport and one of the busiest in SC (movements).

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 22: The NAMC YS-11
Fingers crossed that the first update fixes the stutter/fps drop every 3 seconds. I'm one of the many people experiencing this issue.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 22: The NAMC YS-11
Reinstalled the 430 and the YS-11 and that seemed to do the trick. Appreciate the help. Quick question for the group... What kind of TAS are you getting when cruising in teh mid teens (14-18000 feet) at 14,2000 rpms? I'm getting around 275 with a rather pronounced nose down AoA.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 22: The NAMC YS-11
Only follows the TRK when entering a "Direct" to waypoint entry. Also, and this is weird, when using the Mid Pacific freeware livery my RPM gauges are going backward so that when I reduce power to 14,200 the RPM gauge shows an increase into the 17,000+ range. I may need to reinstall the YS-11 too. something is odd here.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 22: The NAMC YS-11
Deleted and reinstalled the WT430 and TRK still won't follow the flight plan. I can get it to follow a "Direct to an airport" entry but not an actual flight plan from waypoint to waypoint...whether it's a manually entered FP or thru a Simbrief import.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 22: The NAMC YS-11
Going to do a clean reinstall of the WT430 this afternoon and report back.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 22: The NAMC YS-11
Reinstalled the 430 and now it turns on. 25+ year simmer...always read the manuals. For some reason the TRK button isn't working in GPS mode...only VLOC.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 22: The NAMC YS-11
Anyone else having difficulty getting the WT430 to turn on when starting from Cold & Dark? Only way I can get it to turn on is in ready to fly mode. For some reason I can't get the AP to follow the GPS track either. I wonder if my WT 430 is messed up...

CavalierDuck was kind enough to send it my way. Thanks!

KAST Astoria freeware by PianoMan
Would anyone who has this freeware scenery be kind enough to send it to me? For some reason it was taken down from flightsim.to. I used to have it but somehow forgot to back it up when I got a new computer. Thank you!

Need your help with limiting frames
Gotcha...I'll try in NVCP instead. Anything different I should expect?

MSFS 2020 v MSFS 2024 v Real World
This shows one of my only complaints with MS2020...the streams/rivers are too prominent. Not sure why most streams look like wide flowing rivers.

Need your help with limiting frames
Why? I get tearing if I don't...looks awful when panning.

Error 81: Too many liveries Cant be Created
...and the MD-11 isn't available with AIG but is with FSTL...I use AIG aside from this model. Works really well.

Fly2High RJFK
My guess is that there simply is no RT aircraft/airline data for this airport...but I'd like to confirm since I fly out of this airport quite often and no static planes appear when using PSXT.
-
Fly2High RJFK
Yes...I thought I answered this earlier. I have 512 folders containing 2052 files in my C:\PSXT\airports\archive\thirdparty folder, including one for RJFK inside the folder C:\PSXT\airports\archive\thirdparty\FLY 2 HIGH. So there is a file for this airport but no aircraft are spawning and the text in the file looks very different from other files in that there's no specific parking position data with registrations and airline codes...see below:
-
Fly2High RJFK
I have a file in C:\PSXT\airports\archive\thirdparty\FLY 2 HIGH for RJFK. I posted it's contents above. There is no reference to the folder flyhigh-airport-rjfk-kagoshima in the airports scan log in C:\PSXT\output\info despite the folder being in my Packages\Official\Steam folder and the scenery showing up fine in MSFS. Not sure if this means that PSXT isn't recognizing/finding it. Or does it simply mean that thre is no data for the airport in my older archive version?
-
Fly2High RJFK
FYI.... I do not have a file for RJFK in C:\PSXT\Archive\Airports\my_thirdparty\RJFK.xml. Other airports I have in my community folder are in there.

Fly2High RJFK
I did a clean install of version 7.8.7 this morning. Deleted all airport folders and associated files from earlier version prior to install of 7.8.7.

Fly2High RJFK
<parameter name="ARCHIVE_VERSION" value="0.1.0" /> Yes....it does. I'm even more confused now, lol. I guess I don't understand why the file for RJFK in C:\PSXT\airports\archive\thirdparty\FLY 2 HIGH looks so different than the other files. Is it just hasn't been learned yet by any users?
-
Fly2High RJFK
Starting a new thread...my apologies on high jacking the other... This is from a complete fresh install of v 7.8.7. I'm a little confused since the RJFK file looks so different when opened. The file I found for RJFK is in the folder C:\PSXT\airports\archive\thirdparty\FLY 2 HIGH. I also have a file for RJFM...which I don't own. What's confusing to me is that the RJFM file lists each parking spot with specific regs and flight numbers associated with each spot. RJFK simply lists the spots. I own RJFK (Kagoshima) but am not getting any traffic to spawn. Are you able to help me understand this? Thank you!
-
Drzewiecki RJAA
Thanks.... Sorry about that...will do next time.

So I just noticed that RJFK (Kagoshima) by Fly2High is included in my archive database, however, the associated file doesn't have parking space specifics like other files have. It simply lists the parking spots. I've attached it here. I'm wondering if this is why aircraft do not spawn at this specific airport. <?xml version="1.0"?> <meta> <info name="author" value="PSXT" /> <info name="version" value="7.4.0" /> <info name="date" value="Jun 13, 2024" /> <info name="copyright" value="(c) 2024 Nico W. New version 2.2 of LSFG
Can please someone shed some light on the "Windowed Mode" option? Whether I have it ticked or not MSFS still enters a full-screen environment after clicking Scale.
