Thought about switching to Tobii but then I read when you pause tracking, it resets to the default view instead of freezing your current position. Is that still the case? Because that kills it for me.

Yeah, the FSS avionics in this are a huge asterisk. Definitely going to wait after release. That's when actual users, and not streamers, start asking questions about why X functionality is wrong or missing. It looks good otherwise, though.

It took me one flight to figure out that nothing had changed. So funny how placebo effect/confirmation bias led to this getting pushed through initial testing.

1.8.0 is about as bad as previous versions. Traffic getting stuck and getting 60 degree intercepts on vectors. I'll continue ignore about 75% of the commands the ATC is giving me.

Lol. Of course they "have no plans to shut MSFS down." There are no plans, until suddenly there are plans, and poof... it's gone. That's what happend the last time they shut the franchise down. I could easily see them killing it off during the next recession or the AI bubble bursts and they start looking for head count reductions everywhere.

It's probably less functional/deeply simulated than the default Longitude as well. FFX is mid. But I already bought the Hjet years ago (not impressed though) and will try this since it's free--good on them for that aspect.

There are many more bugs in the sim than these three items.
