I am also 2024 user and 95% of my use is high altitude IFR flights. Performance for me mut be a little better but I had good performance in 2020 as well. I switched only to try out ini A340. Sky might look better along with lighting but to me more Importantly would have been better weather. I still don’t get penalized for flying inside bad weather. I could have lived happy with 2020.

You still on V1.7.7.7 EA. The new experimental version should be Major Version 1.8.0 Experimental. I ran BATC but it did not download the newer version. I guess it is not release yet. So I went into BATC account settings and was able to select "experimental" version. Early access was the one currently selected.

I've been looking at the streamdecks and I see that Spad.next supports it. I thought the the streamdecks only worked with FSUIPC which I have no interest in acquiring (even the free version). So are there plenty of profiles in spad.next for the streamdecks?

I was about to buy this when I found out about not using TAA with this scenery? I use TAA because all the DLSS modes for me don't look as good. From their FB post: "In preparation for the TJSJ release on the 7th, we recommend using this scenery on anything but TAA mode. Why? The high density of reflective metal frames and overlapping reflective glass around Terminal A will cause texture flickering at a distance, as the Temporary Antialiasing is very aggressive on reflections! We use DLSS, even on VR Mode. Note that this is not a problem at close proximity to the terminal."

I forgot to mention it is the Steam version. I am wondering if it is an issue with privilege/permission on windows. I am running Windows 11 LTSC. So when I run the installer for any of the above mentioned programs it does not create an exe.xml file. I installed msfs 2024 in a different drive and moved the community folder to a different location which can be done thru the sim itself.

What I meant to say is that addons are NOT launching when I start MSFS2024.

Sorry. I stand corrected. Yes, it is the EXE.XML file that I can not find in my PC. Thank you but I can't find a package by that name.

Hello, I just recently acquired MSFS 2024 and I am still in the process of setting my controllers and installing different addons. What I noticed is that addons that I have installed so far are launching as intended. I looked for my EXL.XML file in C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 but it is not there for some reason it has not been created. The addons that I am having problems with launching are: - Navigraph Simlink - Winwing SimAppPro (It launches when windows 11 LTSC starts but can't control my FCU with managed mode. Maybe a separate issue.) - FS-ATC Chatter Any ideas why the exl.xml file it's not being creted? Or I am looking for it in the wrong location?

I like the look of the throttle quadrant. No idea what the price will be. Is he going to be able to deliver? We will see. I ended up picking the Dukes. Thanks for all the feedback. I just got MSFS2024 yesterday and I’m still setting it up. I have to watch a few videos on how to setup controllers.

Great. Thank you for all the input. I’m leaning towards the Starship. I owned the Dukes in P3D and they were a lot of fun. Time to try something different and challenging.

Seeing that Just Flight is having a sale I am debating between the BS Dukes bundle or the Starship. What are your opinions on these addons?
