February 4, 20251 yr HI, Is it just my setup or are all the white waves and sea foam all around St. Barthelemy Island just static. I have no movement at all in them. Maybe I'm expecting too much................?
February 4, 20251 yr The Bing imagery will be static but to see some foam, the wind will have to pick up. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
February 4, 20251 yr White waves crashing on the shore are always static in MSFS2020/MSFS2024, no matter it's St-Barth or any other coast 😉 You may have souvenirs from other sim 😉 Adding wind (a lot) will help creating waves off coast, but don't generated animated waves on the shore ;( Edited February 4, 20251 yr by vbazillio Vincent B. July 22, 2025Jul 22 You mean the Airworthy Designs ? Bought it years ago. It may be activated on my previous screenshots (the statue of Col de la Tourmente). Will have to double check later today (CET time). Sorry! This highlight the lack of warning signs, so iconic on the beach as well as on the hill. Will investigate 😉 Edited July 22, 2025Jul 22 by vbazillio Vincent B. Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

I picked it up before the Caribbean World Update in 2020, but personally would pass on buying it now. It doesn’t add that much and I don’t believe the Dev will make a native 2024 version now that it’s an upgraded airport within the sim. They never made any changes to it or the island in 2020 either, after the Caribbean World Update. So I just ended up disabling it in 2024. Edited July 22, 2025Jul 22 by Gulf76
July 22, 2025Jul 22 Thank you @Gulf76 for the feedback on the Airworthy Designs. Looks like we're stuck with the Gaia/Asobo St-Barth scenery. Even the free improvement mod (https://flightsim.to/file/23536/tffj-st-barthelemy-gustaf-iii-airport-tree-fix) for this version is too agressive on tree/vegetation removal but the signs are great! August 2, 2025Aug 2 Looks like we have a great 2024 version on the way! And this is a great developer! I own all his sceneries.
August 3, 2025Aug 3 SLH bringing us TFFJ, nice-and heard they may bring TNCM eventually-"Hello. Yes I will. Its currently number three in the cue. I have a airport close by to TNCM 😉 I haven't announced yet, then TTPP, then TNCM. I'm from Anguilla, so I'm looking to hop over there to take some photos later this year. Then early next year we'll be working on TNCM while updating all of my older sceneries."
