January 28, 20251 yr This bit sounds quite exciting too. Could do with a bit more natural movement in cockpit. "It will also incorporate human, mounted, and chase camera physics to simulate realistic motion effects, such as turbulence and braking." I suppose we will get confirmation over the next few days. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). January 28, 20251 yr I just received an email from //42 : ChasePlane™ by //42 for Microsoft Flight Simulator is an award-winning, fully customizable camera system for MSFS: with real physics. With features like effortless custom view creation and sharing, complete camera control (including roll axis and zoom), FlyBy™ cam and our Cinematics™ Mode, you’ll feel like you’re directing a professional film crew. ChasePlane also delivers additional realism with human, mounted and chase camera physics, making every shot feel alive. It’s not just a camera system, it’s a whole new perspective. Joe Lorenc
January 28, 20251 yr Great news! I guess the missing APIs and whatever else they were blocked by is now available in 2024... but I wonder if it's already in 2020, or maybe coming there via SU16? January 28, 20251 yr Great, this was another area that always bugged me in MSFS, XPlane has an excellent camera addon in X-Camera (If i recall the name properly) Hopefully Chase Plane is as good, if not better. I just saw the new x plane physics based camera and it’s real world like. Absolutely amazing. I don’t understand why Asobo never implemented such thing. I am very hopeful for Chaseplane but I am reserving my judgment. Asobo came API is horrendous
January 28, 20251 yr This is exciting - one of the few things I missed from P3D. I finally got to terms with MSFS' camera system but Chaseplane used to be so much easier and more intuitive.
