Certainly seems like they aren't basic drones.

F15's in the air along with refueling tanker, according to this report.

Very, very interesting.

Yes, if I were to conduct surveillance of a military location I too would send drones covered in high-visibility LEDs.

Don't forget that "Oops, sorry 'bout that, guv. Genuine mistake" could provide a cover story for a UK national on the payroll of a foreign state's intelligence services.

When will the West wake-up to the fact we're in a hybrid war against nation states that want to see the end of the US-aligned hegemony? /rant

Drones don't have that sort of range, though.

Look! Up in the sky! It's a new planet! It's Meghan Markle. Rats, it's only aliens 😞

Hmm, the media can't bring themselves to call them UFOs, they're unidentified and they are flying objects, which of course is exactly what they are, because of it's connotations. The really extraordinary encounter in the UK, is the Manchester airport blue orb that has been witnessed...

Analyses says that the Manchester orb was probably fake.

Wonder what is really going on in the world?  I think this is a public diversion from something larger, but my tinfoil hat might be on a little too tightly.
