November 23, 20241 yr Hi all Installed FS2024 on my PC (no XBox) and it works fine with the Cessna 152 and other propeller planes when I start from a runway with engines on and running. My problem is when I start with a prop-plane at any parking location. The plane has a cover, chocks and "remove before flight" sticker. 1. How can I remove them? 2. How and where I activate the new "walk around" function? And how I can "walk around" the plane to see if everithing has been removed (mouse / keyboadrd commands)? 3. And how I go then inside the cockpit to start the procedures for engine start and so on. 4. I also do not want a copilot: how can I remove him? Sorry I am very frustrated with all these new functions in FS2024. Thanks for helping. LSZH / Peter Windows 11 / MSFS 2024 from MS-Store and Fenix A320
November 23, 20241 yr Have a look at this video I think it explains (at least) some of it. 🙂 Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471
November 23, 20241 yr 1. You remove them by walking up to them and clicking on them with the mouse. 2. Standard WASD keys, like in any game were you walk around. 3. By opening the door, or by using shift+c 4. Edit: To remove the copilot, you click on your name in the Menu, go to Customize Identity and then Copilot. Edited November 23, 20241 yr by Farlis
November 23, 20241 yr I've tried binding the A button on my Xbox Controller to INTERACT but it does nothing, the only way to remove stuff is to use the Mouse or VR Controller, unless I'm missing something obvious (please state) I can't find a way to solely use the Xbox Controller to do everything in Walkaround mode. But I don't know how to access that from the menu. As far as I remember, you click on your Name in the upper right small toolbar > Customize Identity > Co-Pilot and then you choose the first one which has no photo. As, you won't see the co-pilot anymore. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
November 23, 20241 yr Author Hi all Number 4 is OK, thanks Number 3 is OK, thanks Number 2 WASD keys, sorry I did not know about, only "game" I have is FS2020/Fs2024 = OK Number 1: I tried with the Cirrus SR22T: I do not see any clickspot on the cover and other things to be removed before going in the cockpit, only have one clickspot to open the door (works). Pleas help, thanks Peter Windows 11 / MSFS 2024 from MS-Store and Fenix A320
November 23, 20241 yr WASD = the W, A, S and D keys. Press Shift + W forwards, Shift + A to walk left sideways etc. The Numpad 4, 8, 6 and 2 buttons do the same without having to press Shift. The SR22's cover click spot is where the two halves meet, near the door handle.
November 23, 20241 yr Author Hi all Number 1 is also OK: I have to go very close to the thing I want to remove, than appears it in blue - left mouseclick and it it is removed! Thanks to all you! All four problems solved. Peter Windows 11 / MSFS 2024 from MS-Store and Fenix A320
November 23, 20241 yr Hi, In MS2020 were two options: 1) cold and dark and drive to the runway, and 2) engine on if you start on the runway. Why this complication now, why isn't the outside revision just an option? I don't want to walk around function! I want to begin directly cold and dark inside the cockpit, as I did always in MSFS 2020. I pray for a skip mod or something like that. In the meanwhile, I'll start on the runway. November 28, 20241 yr We need a keybind for "remove all covers"! Or an option in the EFB. Just checking out iniBuilds A321 for the first time. BUT - I can't remove the engine covers or chocks in walkaround mode. And the option to do it in the EFB isn't working. I've been able to remove covers in other aircraft in walkaround though.... 🙃 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
