It’s people like you who scare other users away from the Xplane forums here. This place needs a major overhaul.

The X-Plane section of Avsim has just become a cesspool. They do more to put X-Plane and its community in a bad light than just about anything else. October 7, 20232 yr I spend 99% of my time in MSFS, but for the past 3 days I have been flying nothing but XP12. And I can't pry myself away right now. There IS such a thing as enjoying each sim for their differences and things that they each do better than the other. As for visuals, I gotta say... atmospherics-wise??? XP12 stepped it up big time. And I can't wait to see what they do with 12.0.8 and especially, 12.1.0! Things are only gonna get better here. The changes they talked about coming for XP12 are music to my ears. It's really on its way up, as far as I am concerned. I can't wait to be pleasantly surprised by the stuff that's coming that will make it even better! And now I am going to invest into some more 3rd party aircraft for XP12. I was just upset that I lost my FlyJSim Boeings from XP11 and the Felis Tu-154, because those can't be used in XP12. Felis became freeware with no update in sight, and FlyJSim doesn't have an XP12 version yet, but I will likely have to re-purchase it if I want to fly it. Those were some good birds that I miss.

Turns out developing a decent flight sim is hard, time consuming and expensive. Totally unforeseeable. At least it is very entertaining 😁👏 i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM

I use xplane 12 every now and then, it’s a good sim. Just can’t wait til they fix the AA up, then I’ll probably use it more often.
