Bullets' fire in space of course, as they contain their own oxidizer. No need for phasers.

No need to ruin Star Wars now 🤣

Rail guns made a lot of sense in The Expanse.

I used the Star Wars reference because it's space battles were based on WW2 dogfighting, and the Millennium Falcon cockpit and turrets based on WW2 Bombers and the Tie Fighters were Ball Turrets with Solar Panels. lots of WW2 references

Awesome series The Expanse. Loved it. Loved the way they did propulsion and interplanetary travel too. 👍

I actually loved the this week's episode. So nostalgic. All the TNG main cast together and Enterprise D! 😵

So final episode has aired, and for the first time in years (Besides strange new worlds) I enjoyed Star Trek again. I actually yelled "Holy" (you know what) at one point.

And the epilogues and the final scene in the credits.....

Dang! 😃

SPOILER!

Enjoyed also, although it's one of those episodes that I felt ran too long.

The CGI sucks however. The modeling was rather pedestrian and the livery looks very dull and plastic.

It was incredible, I absolutely loved season 3 and would even watch it again. I thought season 1 and 2 were absolutely terrible and actually can't believe it's the same series.

I know it was 100% nostalgia and fan service, but still loved it

I find the CGI a bit cartoony at times.

And does anyone find the music distracting? Plays all the time and too prominent. Same with all the other "new trek" TV shows.

Season 3 started a bit shaky I thought, in terms of dialogue and acting. But the last few episodes pleased me. Apart from the last one of course, which is one day later for us, will watch it tonight.

Not keen on that shape shifter, smoking, antagonist to be honest, she annoys me.

One of the things I realized, is that like you said, I would watch many of these episodes again.

On the other hand I can't think of a single episode of Star Trek discovery that I would be interested in watching a second time.

Come to think of it I wasn't so keen on watching them the first time. And despite paying for the service I deliberately skipped a lot of the episodes (as I did with season 1 and 2 of Picard)

What a turnaround!

It's hard to believe the same guy who created the awful mess that is Discovery, also created the very good Piccard. Probably the reason was the fan feedback from Disco.

Also, maybe feedback from Rings of Power Season 1 will improve Season 2. Like for instance not having women in charge of everything. Galadriel even says her husband Celeborn is dead.

Jackson's Ring: The company is introduced in Lothlorien and Galadriel does not open her mouth until Celeborn first speaks.
