I often read a post and cannot tell what year it was posted. The date of the post just says, for example, April 9. I spend time only to find out later from the content that the post is several years old. What am I missing?

As an example, I took a screenshot of one post I made several months ago.  I circled the date.  Now in some cases, if the post you are looking at is made on that day, it should say how many hours ago instead of a date.
