New version 1.2.2 is out. After I watched a recent pilot's video landing 25, I saw some changes like a re-asphalt road around threshold 25 to join the Skydive area.

- Add the new concrete road access to skydive landing area
- Add Transient markings on apron
- Update the GoJump Oceanside banner visible on final 25
- Replace some MSFS default static aircraft

Look like exactly as if this handcrafted MSFS2020 scenery is 100% ignored in the Tech Alpha 😉 It starts in the selection map view. And frankly speaking, I didn't expect much from a Tech Alpha only aiming to test the online servers.

Use this one instead C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.LimitlessBeta_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community but it doesn't really make sense with this Tech Alpha. A lot of default building missing, some placement doesn't work... etc... Let's wait patiently for the 19th Nov.

Thanks.

Disappointing that this addon isn't working perfect in the new MSFS2024.

Oceanside (KOKB) has just been refreshed with an up-to-date layout (v2.1.0😞 the Eddy Jones area has been cleaned up to reflect current (de)construction, artifact TIN around the field has been removed, and ground textures have been improved for a more realistic circuit. All static SimObjects have been removed for better performance, while static aircraft and parking spots (including markings) have been fully reworked to offer a smoother, more authentic GA experience - perfect for your next coastal hop.

Download for free, for PC MSFS2020/24: https://flightsim.to/file/37328/oceanside-box-maxwell-memorial-airfield-kokb

The ZIP now includes two folders: vbcorp-airport-kokb-Oceanside and zzz-vbcorp-airport-kokb-Oceanside

  • For MSFS2024 simmers, make sure both are active in your Community folder. Keep the name zzz-vbcorp-airport-kokb-Oceanside as is.
  • For MSFS2020 users: You can safely ignore the “zzz-vbcorp-airport-kokb-Oceanside” folder.

Full change log

  • Update the runway texture (MSFS2024)
  • Remove former building and clean the “Eddy Jones” area (new warehouse yet to be build)
  • Remove more artifact TIN around the field
  • Remove all static SimObject (performance increase)
  • Fix ground texture
  • Update all static aircraft objects
  • Update all parking spots (including markings)
