March 19, 20215 yr Newbie here - my 1st post. I've been an FSX user for many years. Recently purchased and installed the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Switch Panel on my system. Now I have no audio when ATC is activated. The ATC window displays the textual exchanges, but there is no voice audio from either the pilot or the ATC controller. May be totally coincidental, but given the many, many problems I've had with the new yoke, I would not be surprised if the new yoke is the culprit. Any advice on how to solve this problem short of a complete FSX uninstall/reinstall will be appreciated.
March 19, 20215 yr Administrators Welcome to the AVSIM forums! 😄 Wondering if installing the yoke caused a problem or changes in yout windows sound section? In that Sound section is a tab or box to check that says "Do nothing". If I can find the path to it I will edit my post to show it. Open Control Panel/Sound/Communications, Choose the "Do Nothing" option then Apply. I guess it's reading the ATC as a phone transmission.
