At this point, only conifers in very cold areas are affected (canada, alaska, siberia) . If I fly to lower parts, they are all green.

Nice work, I did not know conifers change color in very cold areas, that was news to me, here in Scandinavia they do not.

Nice work, will be interested in following your progress, especially with deciduous trees and bushes. 😊

While second picture shows larch trees in autumn, first one shows fir trees, and actually those yellowish brownish are dying ones.

Yep. How do I know? I have dying fir trees on my property. 😉 They look just like MSFS now, so that's nice I guess. 😄

I  know nothing of this  process... Is there a way to get more reds and yellows into the deciduous color mix.  So looking forward to your progress!

Not bad 🙂. The thing to avoid is to replicate Indian summer  foliage all over the temperate world. The default FSX/P3D family does a poor job, flying in Europe in the Fall is like flying in Vermont 😄

Looks great. Fantastic in fact.

Could you package it up into 4 Community folders - Spring, Summer, Autumn (Fall), and Winter;

One of which can be dropped in to the Community folder at any time - depending on the season wanted in the sim?

Or perhaps even a bit of code that reads the date in sim and supplies the appropriate seasonal textures from the appropriate folder.
