Lindbergh did it in 1927, although not in a Cessna.  If you read his book about it, you might notice he was something of an adrenaline junkie. 😄

Not wrong haha sure takes a certain person to attempt something like that 🙂 But sounds like they were in contact with the right authorities, had all of their necessary emergency survival gear in tact, got their overweight-to-add-more-fuel-tanks flight approved etc.

I've seen a lot  awesome pilots a lot! What strikes me is that do "awesome" things with passengers aboard, and that is concerning!

In this case it was the passenger that bought the plane so I guess he would get a bit grumpy if he had to swim.

I'm reffing to his channel video at the top when he fly very low with pax on board.  I had my own share of stupidity when I was fresh private pilot, and I'm here to share it because by a sheer luck I didn't received a Darwin award at the time 🙂

He has his own preview copy and YT channel - and has flown most of the non airliners IRL. I don't remember which of his streams but he seems VERY happy with the flight models.

It's what I said all the way. They seem quite good fundamentally, with a few things awkwardly off. Those are on the issues list of the development snapshot and being addressed.

Features might be added, but that can very well be done by 3PDs as well.

In aviation community we mitigate risk not recklessly put others in risk. I'm no sure at which end you connect to real aviation, but obviously you didn't loose anyone in pilot related accident that could be preventable.

Been there done that sadly. Lost three fellow pilot friends in the same incident in the early 2000s when their two aeroplanes collided. It was caused by utterly reckless stupidity on the part of two of the pilots, which I won't elaborate on here as it still divides opinions among those who knew them.

If we lived just by that principle, airshows would have been banned by now.

who?

A guy who did an around the world flight a few years back in a C210, is a CFI, and has thousands of hours flying.

For what it's worth, KatiePilot, who is a Twitch streamer and a real life A320 first officer, does like the feel of GA aircraft in MSFS.  KatiePilot has flown GA aircraft before in real life but she did say it has been some time since she flew a GA aircraft.  She says the strength of MSFS right now is the GA aircraft.  Probably not as relevant as candourist's opinion since candourist specializes in flying GA aircraft in real life.

Do you participate in air shows or fly aerobatic in real life?
