At the moment the controller voices seem identical to the pilot voices...it would be nice to hear both some variety in tone to distinguish these - and also some non-American voices. If I'm flying from Liverpool to Glasgow, for example, the current rendition seems a little unlikely, although perhaps more universally intelligible 🙂 I appreciate that the content here is more important than the delivery - but is anyone aware of the roadmap in this area? I'm personally not interested in VATSIM etc. Thanks in advance! Personally I'll be happy if ATC doesn't clear me into the side of a mountain if I'm IFR.
August 19, 20205 yr It's a shame ATC is still mispronouncing the names of famous places, even in France of all places! Nice is still being pronounced Nice (rhyming with 'mice), rather than 'Niece'. I also heard Brize Norton RAF base being pronounced wrongly , and I'm expecting Glasgow to still be pronounced phonetically instead of 'Glaas-go'.
