It's just that I laugh when people play the "I'll go back to xplane" card. Go, that's your choice, just like it was my choice to move from FSX to xplane after 13 years. But I never went into the forums yelling "I'm going back to FSX CAUSE XPLANES ATC I just can't stand it" 

No, cause I weight the entire SIM and content and pick it. I'll admit it, I fly one sim, sort of because the way I'll pick 1 Formula one racing game. I dont need two. I'd never play 2, I dont have the time for that. But overall content, playability,  and lifespan will win out, as well as listening to customer wishes, and honestly? Austin... you lose. 

 

This looks more like a RC flightsimulator to my eyes.  The grass is too big compared to the aircraft and and buildings.

That is a wonderful amount of experience! I have just over 250 hours myself and looking forward to every hour that follows! How did you earn your experience? Military? Commercial?

As far as the issue of undulating runways, my knee jerk reaction to you, @MatthewS, was going to be to say "lighten up, they have stated and shown that there are sloped runways." However, I completely understand your concern and agree with you. Simply applying a flat slope to a runway with a difference in elevation from one end to the other is not the same as applying realistic elevation changes along the length of the entire runway. Most, if not all airports in my area, have those types of elevation changes. If the weather works out and I can get my flight in early next week, I'm scheduled to go into a class D airport whose primary runway undulates pretty significantly. I'll see if I can get a video that does it justice.

I do agree with you on that point, it was my first impression too, but in the grand scheme of things i weighed it up against everything else we've seen and deemed it forgivable.

I'm surprised no one else has said anything. I am impressed overall. The scenery is so far beyond expectations. But that grass is HUGE 😂 ...well at least it matches the redwood trees in Central Park!

What I really loved about that shot was it wasn't just white ground and dead trees. It makes me want to go for a sleigh ride lol

Main reason I hated flying in winter in FSX,  Michigan winters were depressing enough. Lmao

The vid I posted above distinctly shows taller grass along the runway strip.

And what about the change on the discovery episodes order? No one seems to noticed it 🤔

~90% Airline.  Apart from the huge grass and the huge trees I really hope that they fix the A320 wings. Even sitting static on ground they are bent like in flight.

The single next to it looks like a smaller sibling. At first glance I was thinking Pilatus for the single, but that's not quite right either.

I have been waiting for this one. So much to get excited about in this video and it realy looks as though some of my hopes are a reality. The thing I am most excited about is actual taxi and runway lights instead of those dreadful floating orbs 😁 It's the little things.

Everything I have seen so far just seems better and not just a little better but a HUGE leap in the right direction. I really can't ask for more. Literally, the only things I have seen that have raised an eyebrow is the grass from Honey I Shrunk the Kids and some matching massive trees but honestly, even if they make it through to to the end product I will live with it because everything else is just so damned impressive. The chances are that even those things will be addressed anyway.

I think this is great work that I am seeing.

And did anyone else shiver when looking at the water in the donegal shot? That water and waves looks soooooo cold.
