Skaftafell (Island dirt runway) to Isafjordur (Island)

Maybe with the TBM?

I am easy to please in this department. Not stunning but really pretty.

I used to make my first flight in former iterations of the sim from South Tahoe to Reno or Carson City because your start in a blue and green environment hemmed in the mountains and then abruptly are flying above a reddish/yellowish desert. In the same spirit, flying from the West Amazon basin to the Titicaca has an interesting contrast.

Less exotic, I recently flew from Barcelonette to Gap to Nice to Propiano with the Alps on my left and the Po river plain beyond the ridge then over the Var river mouth and Corsica slowly came out from the haze.

Flying from volcano to volcano in Java.

The Florida Keys.

<sigh> So many flights waiting for us.

Nice, I take notes!

Feel free to post again when ideas come to your mind, I will for sure 😉

As a kid growing up in Aruba, my father was a flight instructor in the local flying club.  And dad was very adventurous.  Our family of 4 took two long trips in a Mooney Mark 21.  The first was from Aruba, up through he Caribbean islands to Florida, up the east coast to SE Canada, then back the way we came to Aruba.  The second was far more adventurous.  From Aruba to Venezuela, over to Panama then up through Central America the Mexico, over to Baja California, then into Los Angeles, then across the US to SE Canada, down the east coast to Florida, then Puerto Rico then the final leg back to Aruba.  My dad is 93 years old now and during my last visit I photographed his logbooks for those flights.  These might be my first trips in MFS.

A flight I can't wait to make in the new sim is from Nassau to Aruba over the Caribbean arc !

Couldn't agree more.  With the way the ocean waters look in the pre-alpha videos, the visuals should be stunning!

After the latest 9 cities video I really want to fly over Venice with nice weather on different times of the day. That location gave me such a good vibe. I'll probably take the Icon A5 so I can land in one of the canals 🙂

I hope a few blogs will pop up with suggestions on stuff like this.

I hope the post-release forum will be full of that kind of suggestions instead of complaints about all and nothing. One can dream, right ?

From Kotzeshoop (South Africa) to Walvis Bay (Namibia) over the Skeleton Coast!

...yikes. Just a bit of windy landing practice. 🙂

Truth be told, I'm looking most forward to flying around areas I am familiar with - they might not be "scenic", but if the scenery generation engine ends up meeting the marketing expectations, I'll be enthralled with jumping around airport-to-airport near home.
