August 20, 20196 yr Uploading to the Avsim library right now. Again, these are for V4.2 (the new PBR update) only. N31GJ is a medevac bird...there's a lot of Lear 35s flying around in the air ambulance role. I'm not sayin', but I'm just sayin' it sure would be neat if @Flysimware felt like making a medical interior...🤨
August 20, 20196 yr Commercial Member It's a Gmax model. I now only model with 3DS MAX. Although you can transfer models as long as there is no animation i still have to work with GMAX. And as single developer i am working on pushing our quality with 3DS Max and our new professional paint company for future products. The update you just got was only because there were 4 people helping to make it better. We are going to be releasing a FMS expansion pack soon. The FMS is under development and is the accurate FMS for this bird. So it will be a hit. Edited August 20, 20196 yr by Flysimware
August 20, 20196 yr Does that mean a FMS for the Falcon is also possible? Maybe with a CRT EFIS and NAV display? That would be something 🙂.

After the L35A FMS we plan to make the FMS for the Falcon as well. Again it will be an expansion pack for those who want a FMS. And for those who do not want one will not have to spend more money.
August 20, 20196 yr Excellent work as usual, David! Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
August 20, 20196 yr Hi Dave, Nice to see you picking up the old paint brush again - beautiful - nice caps too - guess which is my favorite - LOL... First "starcheck" I see tonight... I need to get off my ash and see which paints I left in full vector format - as they should be able to be scaled up to 4096 with minimal work... I never really anticipated doing this... Yeah - I recall reading somewhere on the 35's - "is that it's the fastest way to get between two points for the least amount of money" - think about that one - hence the desirability in the medical transport market... Yep, move your butt so we can get the rest of the AirNet fleet out there! I just put an alignment mark in the corner of each canvas, resized to 4K, and copied to the new template. Played with the opacity on the new dirt/rivets/etc. layers...maybe 5-10 min for each paint.

The expectation is that it will be a UNS-1, as will the FMS in the Lear. This is still quite a ways 'out' at this point so until some experience is gained with the UNS-1 for the Lear, exactly what the implementation will entail is not fully known yet (as a matter of fact, it is not fully known for the Lear yet!). As a side note, Joe tells me the UNS-1 implementation he has in the RW Lears he files drives the AP in the lateral modes, but not in vertical modes. That is, it won't automatically fly vertical profiles. It does provide vertical info, but the pilot has to manage that as, for example, with a GTN 750. Al Edited August 20, 20196 yr by ark
August 20, 20196 yr Isn't it the same unit that PMDG had in their JS41, and Milviz in their B732? The PMDG version was absolutely great. Had tons of fun with it and the Jetstream back then.. my first high end addon. I really hope it will be Navigraph supported, otherwise it wouldn't have much use while flying online. Fs2Crew would be great as well.. 😊 @C525B Stunning work you did there! Congrats! I still have one ambulance jet from germany on my list, but I fear it would be too much for my basic painting skills.. if you would be interested, just give me a call. Hi Dave, LOL - I’m trying - I’m trying - Ryan showed enthusiasm for N500LL so I’ll start with that - even though my favorites are AirNet... Hmm - yeah - I have a bunch of edges that curve across the fuselage - so if I’m missing a saved Vector layer and I’m sure I am - I’ll have to redraw them in order to get the benefit of a 4096 antialiased curves... Maybe I’m a tad anal on this and it would be hardly noticed - I don’t know - but since we have the texture real estate - I might as well try it... It shouldn’t be too hard as it’s simply a tracing exercise - as I’m sure you’re aware - the bulk of time on a paint is spent adjusting everything pixel by pixel to get it aligned properly... When I made that flag for N27TT - I finally took the time to learn Vector graphics and Bezier Curves for PSP in earnest - so it’s easier now (it’s so much easier than Raster for our applications)... Fortunately I have a saved copy of the flag in full Vector - so that’s just a resize - I wouldn’t want to do that one over again... Yeah - PSP doesn’t recognize the “AO Multiply” layer in the PS paint kit - so I’ll have to play with that as well - we do have “Multiply” which is pretty close - I’ll just have to tweak the other layers which I’ve done before on numerous occasions... Thanks for the motivation and great paints - I’ll turn two and get on it... Regards, Scott Edited August 20, 20196 yr by scottb613
August 20, 20196 yr We have a beautiful Lear35 MEDEVAC N108JN that flies out of KMYF here in San Diego, actually it's about really to take flight shortly now according to Flightaware. Edited August 20, 20196 yr by MartinRex007

I want to paint that one actually...I used to work out of the FBO where it was based. This was a few years ago...different operator, different airport. Edit: Looks like 8JN has new paint... This is how it looked when I knew it. I need to figure out how to get the chameleon effect on that middle stripe. Edited August 20, 20196 yr by C525B
