Looks like your the only one on this planet with a working ORBX objectflow for v4 as this isn't released yet .... okay, the beta guys will already have one ;-)

The airports themself work but there missing animated objects like persons, windsocks etc.

Have you tried it yet? EGHI works. Animated people,  workers, baggage movers. If you don't try it you won't know.

You may have something going on but I would doubt that it's objectfow. Orbx flat states that it does not work. I would think they would know. I also have moving people at some airports but objectflow is not loaded so it cannot be working.

For those using FSC, does it read add-on.xml scenery entries yet?

Don't forget we also now have an updated 64bit sound DLL for those of you using any aircraft (freeware or payware) that needs it ... like Manfred's C-47, or RealAir Legacy/TDuke ... dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64.dll.

Thanks for the HU on this Rob, I would have missed this.   Doug Dawson's a legend!

Yes, but that's NOT being controlled by ObjectFlow.dll.  ObjectFlow.dll would handle things like seasonal changes (what aircraft appear at various times of year) and works with wind direction, it can also be used for some animation (such as people, animals, trees, vehicles) but doesn't mean it IS being used for animation in all cases.  For tree animation it's not really needed any more since P3D V4 has SpeedTrees, other animations can be handled entirely via the SDK and now P3D V4 has trigger support for season changes and wind direction/speed ... from what I know of the SDK, I don't "think" there is much in ObjectFlow.dll that is still needed for "new" content but I could be wrong.

However, since so many Orbx airports rely on ObjectFlow, changing to another "way of doing things" would mean updating ALL those existing airports.  So I'd imagine it would be much easier to simply just update ObjectFlow.  Why that is taking a long time I have no idea ... perhaps Orbx decided to not go the ObjectFlow route and use something else (which probably means updating a huge number of airports), or they're having difficulties with the conversion to 64bit or they're missing something they need out of P3D V4 and waiting for it to either get LM to fix or add to P3D V4.

Cheers, Rob.
