SHOWTIME The long awaited Panel upgrade and GTN/AP/mods are now available

I must be missing something. I installed the new file also but no joy.

I have the preset on the pfd on GPS, the GTN is set to GPS. I created a plan in the GTN . Everything works as expected except clicking the NAV button on the AP will "light up" the NAV button but it refuses to capture the course.  As I said, the approach works fine and captures the loc and gs.

Preset should not be gps...!

The active nav source should be gps..

Good morning from Berlin,

new files are on the way to our chief of mod. Some new things are being discussed internally yet or in beta test, like:

-GPU connect indication on ENG display (Aircraft on ground, white if no ENG running, yellow blink if GPU still connected and ENG N1 more then 20%) if you taxi with GPU like me

-"C&D" with, sunshield up, door open and GPU connected
-"Ready for Taxi"  with door close and GPU disconnected
-new "start popup" with config shortcut

-popups and clickspots relocated or added,  no more pressing shift+2 etc.

-NAV with GTN is working again

-FLC still a WIP but it capture SEL ALT and hold SEL SPD (it driving me nuts, sometimes)

I try to implement callouts from the S550 ISG mod

Cheers Janek

.... glad your back in the groove JanekBin,  working magic again

Thank you Janek.  Looking forward to getting the new files.

OK gang. The download link for the hot smoking new v1.4 is ready for you. Get it here.

I did a quick test and everything worked beautifully on my PC, including FLC. We have several new windows to aid in getting configured, getting started, and monitoring your flight status. This will soon be a true single pilot CJ2 for the flight sim. Our goal is no head down time.

Please send me a PM if you have difficulty with this version. We don't need a novel, just notification. Thanks.

Thanks for the reminder, I start tomorrow with this... I hope it's not a big deal.

Cheers Janek

I apologize for this silly question, but when using the GTN 750 can the VNAV mode function on this aircraft, or only the NAV mode?

Hi Ray,

Thanks a lot for the mod, much appreciated.

I do have a request though for the next patch:

  • For reasons of realism, I do not plan to use the GTN in the CJ2 but would like to keep using the FMC.

Nevertheless I would like to use the other fixes/patches like the FLCH mod.

Therefor is it possible to include instructions in the next readme.txt how to exclude/disgard the GTN mod?

Regards,

Egbert
