Hello: After installing Win10 64 update KB4515384 the RAAS volume in my PMDG products is very low. Unless I change the MASTER volume setting its barely audible. If I choose to play the sound through my headset the volume is normal. I only have a 2 speaker setup and have tried messing with the spatial sound settings in WIN10 to no avail. Uninstalling the above update fixes the volume issue. Anyone else have any issues post update? I do not own the RAAS Pro, just the locked version that came with the PMDG. Thanks all for the help! If you have a problem with RAAS not identifying a runway or something else, please add the following information to your post: 1. simulator version (FS9/FSX) 2. service pack/patch (for FS9, it would be FS9.1 for example and for FSX it would be service pack 1 or service pack 2) 3. the airport you have problems with 4. the runways you have problems with (and if possible, the taxiway you are using to enter the runway -> of course only if its a problem with aural alerts on ground) 5. for the specific airport, please post all the airport relevant content of your r4.csv which you can find in your FSX root directory. Hello: After upgrading to Win11 the RAAS volume in my PMDG products is very low. All other sounds are fine. I do not own the RAAS Pro, just the locked version that came with the PMDG. Thanks all for the help! Allan Burek

I got the aircraft with RAAS (LOCKED) included. It says I'm running old software, when I agree to update I get a 404 error. I run the aircraft and FSX crashes. I removed RAAS and now the Airbus work just fine. Help please.

Hi there, Anyone had any similar issues? P3D was constantly crashing before even the startup screen after the update to v5.4...after a lot of head scratching remembered something similar on other P3D versions. Renamed the .dll and it starts up fine. Does it need an update or just happening on my system? Ideas? Thanks and rgds, T

I have been using RAASPRO (locked) with Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321, for FSX for quite some time without any issues and it is a great addon, however I have had a weird problem last night. While doing departures from OPKC, RAASPRO gives the audio call out for runway 25L correctly ('approaching 25L' and 'on runway 25L') however when I fly to OPKC from anywhere it never gives the aural warning of 'approaching 25L'. I have checked the runways.csv file and the runway is there (while departing it works) and I tried making the database again but it does not work still. I have flown to num…

Hi, I am a P3Dv5.3 user and I have a problem with RAAS in 777 of PMDG. Approaching runway I don't hear any RAAS announcement. My first move was to cut-paste RAASPRO folder from P3D main folder to User\user\Documents, in order to make P3D enable RAAS. Despite that, it still produces no announcement. On the other hand, PMDG support state unable to help. A valid add-on.xml exists, dll.xml has a RAAS entry, RAAS is activated through PMDG setup, but still no success. Can anybody help ? Running win10 with latest updates. Sotiris.

Hello, I'm experiencing a Bug on the QW 787: When I add the Plane to a RAAS Profile, the Plane (when loaded in a new Session) will Start with the Indication Lights Test Switch to on in the ColdAndDark Panel State. So everything is being lit up. As soon as I remove the created Profile INI File (in %appdata%), the Plane loads normally (really completely dark).

When using a PMDG 777 in FSX, the RAAS switches itself off. I have made sure that RAAS is selected as fitted in the Aircraft Equipment options. It has worked since I installed the aircraft a couple of years ago. It started to behave like this before but suddenly corrected itself. I never got to the bottom of it. I can switch it on, using the Add-Ons drop down, but it switches itself off again soon after. Any help please? Regrds John Earl

When I start RAASPRO 64 bit version for P3Dv5 I encounter that FS2Audio.dll is not found. It only occurs when RAASPRO is activated with xml in Simstarter. Without RAASPRO started no error occurs. Has anybody an idea how to resolve this problem? Kind regards, Fred

Hi RAAS Pro has disappeared completely since I reinstalled P3D to v5.2 HF1. All the other addons are back except for RAAS Pro. I reinstalled RAAS Pro few times but it is not showing in the add-ons cfg file. It's not in P3D Add-on menu tab either. Is there something else I have to install for RAAS Pro to work? I don't remember anymore since the initial installed work flawlessly. Thanks!

A few months ago I started getting this error when starting FSX:SE It worked fine before and I haven't changed anything related to the flight simulator as far as I can tell, and it gets updated via PMDG Operations Center frequently. Any idea what is going on and how to resolve it? This came as part of the 747-400 Queen of the Skies II from PMDG. I asked on the PMDG forums and I was told I need to contact FS2Crew about issues with their software. I am using P3d v4.4, with my favorite PMDG 737 NGXu, FSDT GSX, and RAASPRO. Everything was running fine, when suddenly one morning, when I tried to launch P3D, the loading screen appeared and then it vanished after sometime. I checked task manager and noticed that P3D.exe was running in the background using resources such as RAM (700 MB) and 20% of CPU. and 10 % of my hard drive. I deleted the generated files, the problem was solved! When I re-introduced the addons, I saw that the error occured again. When I disabled RAAS in dll.xml, then P3D loaded up nicely. When I enabled RAAS in dll.xml the problem occured again. So I can conclude there is a problem with RAASPRO. …

My brother informed me of an error message that he was getting today when attempting to start FSX. We both use roughly the same hardware and software and both of us have the PMDG T7 installed. I also have many other PMDG planes installed 744 v3, NGX and others. I have been using RAAS Pro for several years, but I beleive my brother has the PMDG T7's (locked) RAAS version. When I tried to start my FSX this afternoon, I received the same error message during FSX startup. Any idea what is causing this? At the end of the install process for RAAS Pro I get message that E:\RAASPRO\res\dll.xml is not installed. I have downloaded and replaced the dll with the one on the problem page but it i still not showing under addons , any ideas. I lso have the aerosoft locked version installed but hat does not appear either

I need help. In the last ten days I had many problems with P3D V5. All these problems started with an update of NViDIA drivers. I read in many forums that I needed to roll back on a previous version of that. I did it. Last week I updated the drivers with the last version, but nothing (I read that the problems was solved). So I decided to make a complete new installation of P3D and his add-on. I have a HDD dedicated only for the simulator so I deleted the entire volume and make a new one.
