Whats up ? I just bought the PA31T few days ago and i've real problem using this aircraft: first of all - during cruising the attitude indicator doesnt show the flight directior and it seems like something went wrong with him... see the following photo: Another issue, i'm always getting "Cabin press" error. i gave the altitude on the "cabin altitude goal" but i still get an error: how do i fix this issues? thank you :)

The ignition switches which cause the ticking noise after startup need to be turned off, but in the P3DV4 version, they do not operate correctly. The best I have been able to do, is click on the top of the right toggle switch which somehow turned off both switches..

With the Flight 1 GTN 750 installed, is it possible to make the click point to bring the GTN out of it's bezel on the left side, where it is larger footprint to click on,instead of on the top.I find when flying in turbulence it's difficult to find the small footprint of the click spot. Hello everyone ! Using P3D V4 now and saying goodbye to FSX, Whenever I turn on the instrument lights (Sliding switch) on the Cheyenne II Lite, I get a totally black/dark frame around the screen. (P3D V4). It only gets iluminated around the frame by swicthing on the cockpit lights. Obviously I've seen this before with RXP GNS as well in other aircrafts but I'm very sure this is related to the .MDL interior file. This doesn't happen with the PC-12 for example and unfortunately, I couldn't check with the Cheyenne II (Main version) because I deleted the whole folder since I'm not going to use it ! Could someone else please confir…

Don't know ... but this PA31T has worse FPS than the B777/B744 PMDG and/or FSLabs A320. My FPS is locked at 30 and with PMDG and FSLABS pretty much maintain 28/29 all the way and only at airports like EDDF and EGLL (Aerosoft) I will see a drop to low 21/23s but the Cheyenne just startup with 21/23 and while flying into ORBX LOWI it drops to below 20 FPS. My specs are more than decent and my FSX/P3D setup runs very smooth. No need to tweak or change anything else. The proof is that no other aircraft in my hanger has this hit on FPS. Don't know ... something somewhere just doesn't feel right because I own a lot of Carenado aeries and this one is just a bummer.

Hi, i installed the Cheyenne II and the updated PC12 in P3Dv4 (outside the main-folder with add-on.xml) and i have no click-sounds on knobs and switches in the VC. All other sounds (engine, fuelpump, etc.) are working. I also installed the RealAir Legacy and it has no click-sounds as well... Is that a v4 feature ;-) Regards Raller

I have V1.1 the labels on the overhead switches come on with the instrument lights, but the backlights in the switches themselves seem to only come on if I turn on the map/dome lights. Am I the only one seeing this ? (wouldn't be the first time..... :-) thanx Jeff

Hi Folks, I think the Strobes/Beacon switch is wrong - using DA for a guide - in Beacon the beacon light should be lit as it is - - - in Strobes I believe both the Beacon and Strobes should be on an would make sense but they're not... Reported to Carenado... Regards, Scott

WOW!! ok here we go....FSX platform using the EZ dok settings. WINDOWS 8.1 Problem I THOUGHT was in having the PA31-310 Navajo installed. This is called the PA31T Cheyenne, VERY SIMILAR . I removed the Navajo to desktop and then installed the PA31T and THIS TIME it went thru the process of excepting the 4 or 5 items you have to "ok" with most aircraft now days. I was having the "Microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working" happen dozens of times. NOW in putting the Navajo back over to FSX it crashes. OVER AND OVER. Now even with the Navajo moved to desktop and uninstalling the PA31T using the Carenado uninstall everytime for the PA31T, the PA31T will not install go…

Hi Folks, RE: P3D Learning my way around this plane... Anyone manage to make a cold and dark start work correctly ? It could be me but am I missing something ? The start sequence should start with the Condition Levers in cutoff - the Ignition Switch goes on - the Starter Switch is engaged... Once this happens aren't we supposed to look for the Engine Gauges to advance to some set level - before introducing the fuel with the respective Conditioner Lever ??? The Engine Gauges never advance until after I move the Conditioner Lever forward... Even with Cold and Dark selected - it seems both Ignition Switches are still tied together... I get the I…

Twice I have to to make unscheduled descents and landings after the A/P goes wonky. It seems to happen if I change anything with the NAV setup. Navigating airways, I can go back and forth from NAV LOC to HDG and back, but if I switch from NAV to GPS, the A/P starts rolling back and forth as if it cannot capture the course, and the rolls become more divergent until I finally have to DISCO the A/P and hand fly. Turning the A/P off, then back on, does not resolve the problem. So I have to hand fly to the nearest airport. Good morning, I have a problem with the PA31 and the PC12. I'm randomly losing control on the yoke. It suddenly gets stuck on a turned position and even the animation on the VC shows it hard left or right. Sometimes centered. I also am loosing control of rudder. Meaning I can't turn it left or right when on the ground. I use FSUIPC for my yoke assignments. I've already checked if I had duplicate assignments in the FS settings and I did not. When it happens I tried changing the FSUIPC assignments from direct to send through FS and it does not solve it. Then I add it as an assignment in the FS settings and it does start working again. Since the 1.2 update, I'm unable to get the AP to stay on. It turns on then back off on it's own. Am I missing something in the start up? (Reference material states the inverter and AP bus need to be off during start up or damage may occur, but I find it hard to believe Carenado would model this). Anyone else seeing this happen?

Hi all, Question for the pros : given the - very - thin documentation, I was thinking oil doors would be used as in the turbine Duke, i.e : open for take off and initial climb in order to keep oil temperatures within limits, and then closed pretty much for every other flight phase (except go around) Looking closer at the normal checklist I see they are supposed to be verified closed in the before take off checklist. Any insight ? On a side note for those using ASN weather the panel configuration mod needed to integrate Roland Weather radar into the VC instead of the useless Carenado Avidyne unit has been published on April 5th : https://www.avsim.com/forums…
