PA46 500TP Meridian G1000 HD SERIES for FSX | P3D

  1. Started by Fitch93,

Is there a way to set the FLC speed while still on the ground? It's kinda tedious to have to wait until I'm airborne, hit the FLC button and then start scrolling the VS/Speed knob like a madman while the plane pitches wildly up.

How do you switch tanks L to R? The documentation didn’t contain a panel map to functions!

  3. Started by Rod,

I am reading that the max speed on the PA46-500TP Meridian is 260 KIAS. But the documentation from Carenado says 188 KIAS. That is slower than the Mirage 350, which does not make sense. When I try to go over 188 KIAS, I get the engine overspeed warning. What am I doing Wrong? Rod

  4. Started by Chobber,

I have done this for myself, so there is a heavy dose of personal preference here, but if anyone is interested in this MFD mod PM me your email and I'll send instructions (batches as and when). It incorporates the F1 GTN750, and tidies up some of the EICAS elements that bugged me. The list I can remember: Shortened text fields that were creeping out of the eicas. Fixed the "DIFF PSI" chopped text. The electrical gauge's source data slightly changed (still faked, but uses the load as the base for one of the figures now so semi useful). Electrical gauge's letters on the indicators font changed and position moved on the arrow slightly to be somewhat readable. Remo…

  6. Need some help. During take off at the runway, the Carenado Meridian always steer to the right. I tried everything, trim the rudder, check google for help, but still have the same problem. What have I done wrong? Secondly, while cruising or climbing, when auto pilot is activated, the plane goes out of control, it pitch up very high or dive to the ground, why is that so? Never have these problems with FSX nor PDMG planes.

  7. Some years back Carenado did cockpit lights correctly, but many of their newer releases have the majority of the instrument lights hooked in parallel with the cabin or overhead lights. In these aircraft the instrument light switch only turns on a few instrument lights.. For the rest, you must illuminate (sometimes very brightly) the entire cockpit with the overhead cabin-dome lights to get all the instrument lights on. How about the Meridian ? I can't seem find the answer by searching. Thanx all. Jeff B

  11. Hello, I installed the PA46 with Navigraph. On the MFD, there is no text that says the Airport ICAOS, Intersections, etc... I can see the locations of them, The little triangle icons, airport icons, etc but there is no text that identifies them. When I select a departure or arrival of an airport, I can see the navigraph data is loaded. I have included screenshots. Any help would be great. http://i.imgur.com/McmGdGf.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vmfB4Jq.jpg

  13. Is there any way to change fuel on the MFD from gallons to pounds? I tried the AUX page option many times but that didn't work. I even went into the gauges to make changes and nothing makes the change. Thanks / Les Parson

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you are able to get Victor airways on the G1000. I have tried but I am not having any luck. Is that something that is not possible with the current 1.1 version?

  15. These should be available in the AVSIM library over the weekend. They're all based on real Meridians, although I did take liberties with a couple of them. (Sorry for blurry photo scenery...I was slewing)

  16. Started by FLIGHTO,

I have been flying this aircraft for about a week now and but never took it to the ceiling of FL30 before today.. At about 29,300 ft I get the "Cabin Alt 10000" in the CAS. I know in the real a/c this will maintain a specific sub-10,000 foot cabin at FL30. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know where the XML coding is for this? I am sure its a minor edit...

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if any of you who might be skilled at making mods to the Carenado G1000 can say whether or not it's possible to automate the Transponder modes? For example switching from GND to ALT and then back to GND when taking off and landing?

http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.php?accion=product&correl=186 Currently $5.95, but they mention on their Facebook page that this is an introductory price for 10 days only. What do you think?

  20. Started by JYW,

Been checking all day, and just saw that it's released and availble to buy ($37.95). I will probably get it, but look forward to hearing from any 'early adopters' who get it before me.
