The new and upgraded AVSIM changed your username if it was not the same as your Display Name. When you logon, use your Display Name. Members who have problems signing into AVSIM will be locked out after three (3) failed attempts. Members can change their e-mail address at any time via their respective profile. If, for any reason, the change is unsuccessful, please contact us using the form in the "Contact Us" menu above and we will assist. Many members have not signed on for several months or years and their password is no longer valid. When you create a new account, a validation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address used in your registration. We have seen many cases where the e-mail provider erroneously places the validation e-mail into the users junk/spam mail folder so please check that folder first for the validation e-mail. Hi, I didn't receive mail notifications on topics I subscribed to since July 2024. I tried several measures, including changing mail address, was even in contact with @Bob Scott who told me at a point about a software/configuration change, but nothing did help. I was not banned, I could mail, and I received notifications from other fora like the MSFS official fora and ORBX, just not AVSIM. I need to log in to the AVSIM Library for the AIG AI Manager to download things correctly, however i cannot register for the AVSIM library. Whenever I try to do this, all the feilds go blank as soom as i click "Register" I cannot log in with any credentials either. How do I get this working?

Well.... Woke up this morning and suddenly unable to reach Avsim from any computer or tablet in the house. All sorts of cache clearing, dns tomfoolery and etc proved futile, and now wondering if I am now part of some blocked ip range. Not wanting to spend all day fiddling with it, I dropped the subject. A few minutes ago, I joined some free, probably fly by night vpn and got through just fine, though still unable to access the site in any other way. Any suggestions?

Hi Avsim community, I had to create this username to reach you, I used to read this forum when I was in highschool and upload some files to you library with the same user, but now my user won´t allow me to reply or post. On my profile I can read -inactive member-. I´m able to login to both the forum and the download library but can´t post at all. I already tried your contact us form many times with no answer. I'm having trouble logging in. Each time I try it doesn't recognise my password or user name, which one is the problem I'm not sure. I then request a lost password email which arrives OK, then I create another password, log in OK but the next time I use it, it won't let me in. An error message flashes up on the screen and then disappears so I have to request a new password email again. I've done this about 5 times since yesterday!!! I'm using either an iPad or iMac. Having an unusual problem: I need to update my signature; so I go into my user file, select ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then select SIGNATURE, the display image starts vibrating very rapidly. So I have not been able to select anything to modify once I select SIGNATURE. I am able to select any of the other menu selections in my ACCOUNT SETTINGS without getting this problem. Any suggestions what might be the problem?

I have tried to log into the library and from what I understand you need to have a new account.... when I try to make one I get a mesg. I'm all ready using that email will keep trying got this to work this AM been a long time away from FS any help will be appreciated

Hi guys, I've been forced to start a new account as it has been impossible to log into my original account, I'm fully aware of the rules but i don't see any other way out. Normally i log in via facebook but i now receive the following error: App not set up: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions. Tried looking into this but have no idea why it's started doing this, as far as i know my facebook account is active and don't know about a development mode?

Hello, Prior to today 21.5.2018 I was known as Richard Welsh b.21.2.37 here on Avsim with the email address richard(DOT)welsh(AT)btinternet(DOT)com which I should have changed a long time ago but due to age and other excuses I failed to do so and ask forgiveness. This anomaly occurred due to my noticing that on 3.5.18 I made a donation to Avsim item No. 134519 $20 via Paypal which was not acknowledged by Avsim. May I suggest that my previous identity both name and email be erased and substituted with Rickie Welsh and richardwelsh21(AT)gmail(DOT)com.
