777 Immersion Support

Hi friends, I bought both addons (Precipit and 777Immersion) a few days ago and I observed that there isn't volumetric light effect on tail (logo light). I don’t know why :( - what is the reason? Landing volumetric lights works fine. I tried reinstall 777Immersion, but it did not help. Checked in night and low visibility. I use DX10 Steve's Fixer and ran it just after installation FSFX to convert effects. ..and two more questions: 1. I see rain drops only in day time - is it normal? 2. I see dispersed light from virtual cockpit in night time when in METAR there is FOG only. Is it normal? Ps. Is it possible [in future] to see strobe lights on wing tips di…

Keven, Thanks for the email support you provided. Do you know when we might expect the next update to ship with weather presets? They would be useful for taking screenshots, videos, and troubleshooting issues like the one that I thought I had.

After installing I get the error G3d.dll crash. Uninstall 777Imm. I uninstalled and runs fine. Is this a known issue or?? Jon

Hi I have a problem regarding contrails. I noticed that even at 39000 ft using active sky next I can't see them (I checked the flag during installation). any ideas?

Hi, I get this during installation... (I get several error messages of this type) "Unable to add all effect to aircraft.cfg C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 777-200LR\aircraft.cfg" There is a double \\ in the path. If I run it a second time it seems to work, no error messages. Can I check if the updates has been made to the correct files? /Curt

Hello I just bought the 777 immersion, and sadly there're some issues... I use DX10 fixer from SteveFX, I followed all the steps even try to reinstall, nothinh works... The effects only appears for a 1/4 of seconds when I press "I" which is smoke system default button, then it deseapers. I now thatthe effect works with the smoke system but how is it possible the make it permanent? ( i tried to affect a jostick button to smoke system to try with the "repeat option" without success...) An solutions? Thank you

One question does it also support the 77F ? And when not is a update planned ? Because 19€ only for effects are not cheap but its a great product! thank you

Bonjour, Je possède PrecipitFX et il fonctionne bien et aujourd'hui je acheter et d'installer 777 Immersion toutes les options sont vérifiés et tous les effets que cela fonctionne bien, sauf effet «Spray moteur" lorsque les moteurs y sont en cours d'exécution tout effet de l'eau et le souffle des réacteurs à l'arrière de la plan même quand je allumer les revers. Je désinstaler et reinstaler les produits à plusieurs reprises, mais aucun changement, même si je ai la dernière version de FSUIPC. Hi. I like your new Immersion package, looks astonishing, but the main reason I didn't purchased it yet is because I really don't know how many of these effects will really bring Immersion to my cockpit. Does the 3D lighting reflect fog if you are inside the VC?. Or it only works in external view?. Are you planning to add Rain/Snow effects, Hail effects, inside the cockpit? What about sounds, I would really love to have a better sound environment from inside the cockpit. As I'm not a video editor, 99% of my simming time is spent from inside the cabin, so I don't think this is for me unless there are more effects to come. Thanks.

Hey FSFX, just bought your sweet little package, but I have some questions before I start installing: - How exactly do it make this work with DX10? I just uninstall the fixes, apply 777 immersion and then re-apply the fixes? - I noticed you mentioned in the manual that I must increase my special effects detail slider to maximum to properly see those effects. I currently run this slider on the full left (off). I'm not going to see an impact by turning this on am I? - Last but not least, I hate changing settings from within FSX because it resets TML values and whatnot so I prefer manual cfg edits.
