Hi folks, A happy owner of this great ac! I did post this over at the Carenado support fórum but that seems a bit dead. As per the perfomance sheet, this bird seems to be able to do FL240. In real life (as per wiki) it´s around 25,000ft. Can we say that 24,000 is it´s service ceiling? yeah we should turn on the oxygen at that hight, but I don´t think we will vertualy faint  Thank you. Care, Mike

Has anyone heard if Carenado plans to add a cargo pod to this AC like there did on the early version of the C206. I fly cargo and this AC just does not have enough capacity compared to the first release. Thanks.. Tom

It appears that the blank texture set is extremely disorganised. Trying to do a repaint will be next to impossible, at least for someone like myself. Does anyone have any idea of how to make sense of it? Cheers, Fritz

Does any guru(expert) here know if it's possible to change the VOR1/VOR2/ADF instruments to slaved? I really like this plane, but I hate having to constantly rotate the dial and prefer to use the RealityXP versions. I know it maybe not realistic, but it's hard to continually twiddle with the mouse and scroll around to try and get it right, especially on instrument approaches. I've had a look in the panel.cfg file, but there doesn't seem to be individual entries for each instrument like in previous planes, so I'm guessing it probably isn't possible without some sort of hacking.

WOW!!! Been very, very excited about this one but was SHATTERED that there was no "G" rego included!!! There was a "G" rego in the "incoming projects" section which was the clincher for me. Maybe next time I should flick through all of the pictures on the release pages before I hit "Purchase" Not happy!!! Tim...

Just in case anybody notices but the audio panel does not function. You must change a gauge listing in the panel.cfg file [Vcockpit02] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=512,512 visible=1 pixel_size=512,512 texture=$Panel_2 gauge00=Radio_CT206!RadioAudio, 14, 4,484, 94 -----> But should be this //gauge00=Radio_PA46!RadioAudio, 14, 4,484, 94 -----> Is listed as this First Carenado plane I've purchased from Carenado and now I know why most are hesitant to buy from them.

I'm sure there are many favorite pilot's seating positions in this airplane, that is why they make adjustable seats.. but I am 6' 3" and I like to be able to look over the glareshield.. This works well for me (in the aircraft.cfg file) [Views] //eyepoint= -9.8, -0.9, 1.53 eyepoint= -10.02, -0.90, 1.785

I was wondering if it's just me or if anyone else has noticed a minimal difference in the sound when the prop and throttle is pulled back after takeoff and when the power is pulled back to almost idle. The engine sound goes up and down and isn't constant. Is this normal?? I'm not a sound expert but just wondering. Gary

After reading through some more flight test articles written by pilots about the real plane I thought I'd try making a few changes to the aircraft cfg so that some of the 206's flight characteristics might better resemble the real one. The articles brought up a few points of reference that in a quick & dirty way I think I may have been able to get a little closer to how it was being described. Manifold pressure out of the box seems it may be too high on final approach...for example I think to maintaine around 75kts with full flaps you'll need around 24" but in reality it should range between 12"-17"...the plane needs a power on approach all the way until touchdown…
