I love msfs but I miss the 206. I will this work in p3dv6?

Well, I have to admit, I'm a sucker for the bigger Cessnas, particularly those that operate in the boonies. The 206 is one of my favourite (next to the 185) both in FSX and IRL (I have RW commercial time in both). I've been watching the 206 development with great interest since it's inception and it sure looked good right from the start. I know many said we already have a 206, but adding the turbocharger with the bigger engine basically makes it a whole new machine that opens up many new doors, particularly in Orbx NA regions where the high country rules. Hi, I'm looking for the AIR file mod for the Carenado CT206H which corrects for the high panel to improve visibility, dated 2013. Not longer available in the Careando forum. Thanks much Jack

I had it running okay in P3Dv4 but does not work in '5.3'. Is it not compatible or, is there an update, please?

This is a question directed at those who have – or had, the Synthetic Vision System and the Stationair G1000 Extension Pack installed in FSX or P3D: “Does SVS function correctly in the T206H G1000?” The reason for asking is that installation of the C172SP G1000 with SVS caused the horizon line on the T206H G1000 PFD to constantly fluctuate vertically approximately 3 degrees even though that version of SVS is not functional in the Stationair. Any replies would be appreciated. Thank you WS

I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed the F1 GTN 750 into the VC. I tried last night and the GTN 750 does not boot up, I only receive the Garmin title page and then it stays stuck on the next page. If I manually add a 2D window without using the Config Utility, the popup does not power on, just a black screen. I finally just used the Config Utility but would like to have it installed in the VC. Ok so this plane is 5 years old and still sells for $35 on their site and for the goodness sakes why in the world doesn't Carenado fix this plane and make it a awesome product. I have seven Carenado planes and one Alabeo and everyone of them seems to have that one problem that they never seem to fix. 1 - Make the panel lights adjustable. 2 - Put in a real Bendix/King AP 3 - Make it GTN750 / RXP compatible. A2A few planes but everything works, Carenado lots of planes but few things work.

Any Updates on this issue?

Hi All Anyone come across this problem I had an old order for this plane in FS Pilotshop-June 2014 Plane running well in FSX plus expansion pack-nice package I downloaded updated V2 version a couple of weeks ago from same site(updated order)and installed plane in P3Dv4-works well -miss expansion pack but this might be updated soon? Went to install in my P3D3.4 setup yesterday but Serial/License key no longer works!-expired? What to do? xxd09

Is it possible to edit the height of the point of view value anywhere in panel.cfg or elsewhere? Some Carenado planes like Stationair, Skywagon and Aztec have a weird point of view. Normally (picture-1) you can't see nothing ahead of view neither on the runway nor in the air. If you "raise your seat" with keyboard commands (picture-2), you get this awfully high point of view where your head is all the way at the ceiling and the instrument panel is way below. I'd like to set the default value to a height position, if possible please explain which value is needed to be edited and where it is in the panel.cfg or model.cfg file.

Is there any way to tweak the interior lighting brightness? The panel light seems way too bright, and the dome light not bright enough. Also the panel seems waaay too clean, will try playing with the DDS file in photoshop to dirty it up a bit, but hoping to see someone with better art skills have a crack at it. Cheers.......Chris

I personally think the aircraft rides nose high... You can barely get off the ground at the correct speed (even lightly loaded) without dragging and fearing a tail strike. I have nearly 1500 hours of RL flying (80% of them in different Cessnas) and it doesn't feel right. Looking at YouTube videos, and comparing, seems to back up my sentiment. For example, this 3-degree approach shows a slight nose-down attitude at what looks like 75 knots (maybe as low as 60-70 knots as stated in the comments). This is not possible with the Carenado version (it would ride nose-up). Rotation in the Carenado feels long (dragging) and climb feels excessively steep to me. Since…

Noticed that a few people as well as myself are having problems in V2 We are unable to remove the wheel fairings via the pop up menu shft/4 the box unticks but the fairings remain. is this a problem across the board and are there any workarounds ? cheers

I am using a Logitech Extreme Pro Joy and With this plane only, the rudder is not working or works at about 10%. How do I fix it? Remove the aircraft and get a refund? Alter the cfg? Anything else? Thanks

I just picked up the Carenado CT206. Wanting to get back into Return to Misty Moorings with ORBX scenery, I was needing an amphibious bush plane. Tried the 185. It's ok but was wanting something more along the lines of the 210. Since I couldn't find an amphib 210 I went for the 206. After reworking the panel upgrade to the RXP430 and a new AP all was good with that part. But as you know the sound is really bad on this plane. I could not hear the engine start at all from inside. The throttle and prop adjustments were just awful. I fiddled with the sound.cfg but no joy. It occurred to me that since I already owned the 210 in which the sound is very nice, why not d…
