I know many use this scenery package as an extreme test, so thought I'd try out the updated New York V2. VAS results are included in the video ... 2.7-2.9GB used with the R66 and 3.1-3.2 GB with the PMDG 737 Note the GPU VRAM usage at 12:52 min mark - 5.12GB Graphics settings and add-ons used are in the video description. Cheers, Rob.

Just a simple fun journey back into the Canadian Rockies. Apologies to my Northern friends for totally botching about half the geographical references. No apologies, though, for the circling arrival to cap it all off. Best, Marshall https://youtu.be/BTAMFJdFVVo

The Mighty Dash takes on the formidable KAJO-KVCV ODP, hold and full VOR/DME approach to Runway 17. In other words, PilotEdge's notorious I-11 exam--minus ATC, in this case. Includes DME arc goodness and tutorial on flying holds. This really should be done in a smaller, slower airplane. But The Mighty D can do it all! Best, Marshall https://youtu.be/JjF3j-eAYG0

R66 and an Electra ... love the area (Monroe Washington), no idea they had a race track there. I realize this is not a "new" release, but it's new to me. Cheers, Rob.

A happy discovery on Page 127 of Majestic's System Tutorial. Essentially it seamlessly blends an ILS into FMS data to yield an LNAV/VNAV "Pink Needles ILS" approach. Here's the citation: The VNAV function has a special provision in order to enable flying the approaches in a coupled mode. What this means, is that it is possible for the FMS to combine ***all the navigation information available (IRS/GPS, and the ILS inputs), to generate and automatically fly the glide and lateral slope for the approach.*** Pretty slick stuff! https://youtu.be/YY6PSGvpkg8 Best, marshall

An L.A. to Palm Springs short hop. Done expressly to try out another sweeping RNP approach and enjoy how well the new Mighty Dash Pro is to fly by hand. Just one problem: It's now so good that any glitch is purely the pilot's fault. It's not the airplane. All the same, it's worth it! Best, Marshall https://youtu.be/lmRBctuPCGU

Just uploaded, so give YouTube about 30-60mins to get them processed up to 4K res. Part 1 Part 2 - disabled left engine As you can see, having a little difficulty keeping the aircraft straight, very sensitive steering and differential brakes. Actually made three flights with one engine down, all three I messed up. Cheers, Rob.

Building a mocked-up company RNP/GPS approach using the Pro Q400's new FMS functionality, Google Earth and a few other hacks. Not really realistic. Certainly not legal to fly. Fun, though, to explore the possibilities. Best, Marshall https://youtu.be/hepH7_S1QZc

I like to fly between Pago Pago airport and Faleolo Int airport and this time using ASN there was a large strong storm over Faleolo with zero visibility. Flying the Bus I used autoland to make it to the runway and, as you will see, the runway was not visible until about 100 ft. Short video, go to Youtube to see it in 1080p.

Hilarity (restrained hilarity, at least) ensues when I fly an approach in The Mighty Dash's database that doesn't seem to correspond to anything published, at least not that I could find. Consequently, we were flying blind and ultimately had to make it a hasty circle-to-land. Then, a surprise. And, in addition to more laffs, a nice demonstration of just how absurdly precise and manageable the Dash's new 125Hz controls truly are. Best, Marshall https://youtu.be/5RMSH53zBDg

A cool ILS arrival into Bowerman, over Orbx PNW for Prepar3d v3. Can't credit Majestic enough. The Mighty Dash can now hand-fly to Cat-III precision, and the new controls to make it seem easy. I couldn't have flown this arrival better myself. Oh, wait! I did! Best, Marshall https://youtu.be/_WBiVQcxqmI
