Return trip from El Monte back down to San Deigo. This is IFR @ night with good weather. I discussed a bit more how I plan tech routes and got completely forgotten about by ATC. Was still unhappy with P3D framerates, went back after the flight and removed vehicle traffic, seems I got 8-10 FPS from just that so future flights may be improving in smoothness.

Full flight, IFR from San Diego to El Monte. I downloaded the newest OBS and got some different settings from some cool bloke on youtube. The video doesn't seem to have the same stutters as last time. I could stand to dial in some settings for better frame rates out of my sim though. Well, here it it.

Did a hop from KPSP to L35 on Pilotedge. Video has some choppiness in it I need to work on but for my first full recorded flight, I'll take it.

This is using the latest update that fixes the VAS issues for the most part. Had a great OOM free flight for you to enjoy!!!

I set out in mild sunny conditions for a nearby airfield to practice circuits. Weather turned bad and instead of diverting early, I stubbornly tried to stick to my original goal. The realism of Active Sky's live weather combined with OrbX/A2A scenery/Cherokee has changed forever my flight prep in sim after this episode. Current weather conditions are no longer enough. I will research forecasts as well and make sure I have enough fuel on board not just to return to my original airport but also to divert to a third 50 miles away if I have to. A sobering experience.
