Hi allSorry about the post, you are probably getting bored to the back teeth about FPS/Graphics card issues! However i value your combined opinion on such things so i thought i might ask...I have a low/midrange machine (AMD Athlon 1700) , and want to get the maximum out of Flightsim 2004..At the moment I have a GeForce 2 64Mb so obviously my flightsim experience is good but limited...I am thinking about getting an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro, it seems to be a solid card, or should i stay away from it at all costs? Im no expert! I dont really want to shell out loads on a card when im being limited by my processer speed....What do you all think? Many thanks

These shots show what I think is going to be a small problem with add-ons that have dynamic shine and are made for 2k2. This seems to happen with ALL of my 2k2 aircraft that have dynamic shine in the model when I put them into 2k4. These screens are taken in the same place, same time, same season with reflections on. Makes a very small difference with reflections off, but its still very noticeable. Was wondering if anyone has seen this yet in 2k4 and can comment about it. I still have the press beta so this may be a moot point, but wonder if others could try this out with the retail version. This is FFX's MD-80 by the way. Just thought I would share with you all some legitimate screens from the soon to be released FS2004 ACOF! These screens are taken from the Gold copy that is representative of the version everyone will be able to buy in a few days. The only thing that is not default is the FFX UAL DC-10 that I downloaded this morning, and the textures on the AI aircraft that I have replaced with REAL airlines. Many of you will be happy to know that repaints of the default airplanes from FS2002 work in FS2004 as well.This is United Flight 394 from LAX to SEA that shows many of the great aspects of the new sky and clouds in ACOF.P.S. Seeing that I'm a person who likes to keep his sim clean of many addons and things and that FS2004 is right around the corner with all new liveries for the default aircraft, I thought I'd create my own "farwell" of sorts to the default aircraft that grew on us before the days of AI traffic programs. Most people have already replaced these aircraft and see them as abberations, but I thought I'd post anyway.This is the last of my posts on the default airlines.
