The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Image Size:Images either uploaded to the server or linked to on a third party must not be any wider than 1024 pixels, and no higher than 768 pixels. Number of Images:There must be NO MORE than 10 screenshots uploaded to any one forum topic. Please be respectful to your fellow forum users and post quality screenshots over quantity. This means simply, do not flood the forum with multiple topics just so you can still upload more than 10 images at a time. The 10 uploaded images should be in the initial post and no images in any follow-up replies, even from the initial poster. We consider any developers, beta team members, etc. part of the development team. Regular users of that product can post all the images they want. Your co-operation on this matter is appreciated. All commercial vendors should e-mail [email protected] if you would like your product previewed.

Folks, some of you are designating your files as either zip or text, not jpg or gif, when you upload them. Be aware that those files are deleted no mater their age. If you upload images, be sure that you follow the size rules AND that you designate them as either JPG or GIF, otherwise they will be removed as has happened today. You will see some message posted in the last 12 days or so that have no images showing. That's because the images were designated as zip or text files when uploaded.

Just so everyone knows, and does not repeat this type of post; moving FS X images to FS-9 is a violation of the MS EULA. Do not post here again, anything of the sort. As a consequence, I have removed the entire thread. And, not to put too fine a point on it, being Free has absolutely nothing to do with it; it is still a violation of MS' EULA.

What is a video if not a series of screenshots...???Why such a draconian policy? The video posted here by me requires a click to access and costs avsim forums no bandwdith. I pay for the bandwidth from a server that I charge nobody anything for except perhaps a smile. It is a flight from FS about FS with a real world video for reference.Where do you suggest I post the video? Why must a screenshot accompany every post or be summarily deleted?
