The systems modelling, effects, reality of the cockpit, vibrations,damage modelling,seamless integration of Reality Xp, great fps, and other hidden features that continue to be discovered are simply amazing! Received FSGlobal Ultimate Europe & Africa yesterday in the mail and after installing the whopping 40Gigs of mesh data, I took the (also new :( ) Aerosoft DA-20 Katana 4x for a short tour in the neighborhood of Samedan.Having also Switzerland Pro and REX, it just can get better than this.

i folks,I have recently been enjoying flying a few freighters in the simulated world of FS while admiring the view of both the scenery and planes. Some great new HD liveries were added to my hangar recently with the likes of PMDG's MD-11 & LDS 767, all cargo liveries. The 5th World airlines addition for the MD-11 and a 1st release for the LDS 767 from the talented chaps at McPhat all in glorious HD quality paints. It also gave me a chance to enjoy my latest airports addition from FTX and a bit of freeware scenery from Blue Sky Scenery. And lets not forget REX2.0 overdrive, another important ingredient to increase the viewing pleasure within FS. So please let me share …

Due to some craziness in life I have had to take a break in simming for the last 5 months. I wasn't sure what to expect coming back to simming after such a long break. My breath was taken away-thanks Bill W. and Orbx for the best scenery I have ever seen, Carenado for a great Baron, and Rex for even more incredible clouds/water than I had before. What a privilege to experience this for so little when avgas is going off the charts!

I don't usually take cockpit shots very often but this one seemed special to me. A rain shower outside the cockpit window descending into Melbourne at dawn. I have been flying into Australian a lot lately. I held off buying ORBX's Australia until this Christmas when they had it on sale. I bought it and have been flying there a lot. A very special place.

After a busy Easter weekend with family I managed to squeeze out a flight. The following is the result!
