The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hello all,I was listening to some music the other day and a song came up that gave me an idea about doing another FSX video on a particular aircraft. The song was Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones and the aircraft that came immediately to mind was the SR-71 aka Blackbird aka Habu. So if you fancy watching the video I done in tribute to this amazing aircraft then . The video is best watched at 720p or 1080p at full screen, please feel free to vote on it.Here are some screen shots taken directly from the video(hence they look slightly grainy & washed out), I do hope you enjoy them:The SR-71a at 80,000 feet:As always, thank you for viewing my work. Here are some pics from a short flight I did in the Sibwings Cessna Bird Dog - KLSE La Crosse Municipal to KRGK Red Wing Regional tracking north along the Mississippi on Wisconsin's western border. This flight (as well as the weather you see) was generated by Ideal Flight 10.Climbing turnGetting on track to follow the riverLooking back with La Crosse on the rightAmazing model and texture detail, probably the best I have yet seen in FSXCrossing over Nelson-Trevino Bottoms State Natural AreaAnother beauty shotKRGK in sightTied down - Ideal Flight will remember that my Bird Dog is parked here and I can have it give me a new random destination later!

No plan on purchasing this product until the developer "Flightbeam" provides the promised upgrade of Terminal 2 which actually opened on the 14th of April. I know within 2-3 weeks is OK but a month or two doesn’t fly in the "real" working world. Remember this is a "new" company without a track record and who's developer has a negitive view on his actual sales and continued FSX development work. I don't why developer are slowing on their projects (not everything can be out for the holidays) but I think this hobby is in a slow decline since no commitment or release date of MS "Flight" and X Plane 10 has been delayed. Hopefully the hobby will continue...DarrylPS...I know t…

Hi folks, after a long time I started using FS9 as my primary sim again (FSX has some problems and I don´t want to reinstall for the 5th. time in three weeks). Got my hands down to the TinMouse II. Had it installed but ignored cause the AP was way too complicated for me. But this changed with the introduction of the SP 177 AP. So I´m flying it excessively. This pic down below is from a flight between Victoria and Port Hardy (FS chrashed on lining up with ILS but I´ll try again). I know that Air Canada had quite a lot of 737-200´s in their fleet but I think none of them flew ever in their new colors. More will follow.

Here is a shot of what is locally called the 'Elmwood Approach' in Rochester. The main roadway heading down to 28 is Elmwood Ave and it gives the perfect setup for night landings. And here is the iFly 737 out of Midway. I am using REX and ASE via WideFS for weather.Kevin

Well it is far from perfect, BUT better than what I had by a long shot.If you fly in FSX using UTX then your stone mountain was covered with a vegetation and forest texture which is not true. SO I made this in about 10 mins using SbuilderX.As I said MUCH better now when I fly in on the FLCON6 which passes directly overhead.

Here is a selection of screenshots from my recent re-creation of Alaska Airlines flight AS300 from KSEA to KSFO. Departure time of 20:45. PMDG 737-700.Unfortunately FS9 locked up on me on final, just as I was approaching the FAF! Doesn't get much more frustrating. Still...got some nice pics out it though.Gate C1:Taxi out:Rotate:Oops, left the taxi light on, oh well it looks kinda cool...Over the city:Wing view:Clean aeroplane:Through 10,000 and the cloud cover:Turning over the FEPOT transition of the HAROB.3 departure procedure:In terms of add-ons, all the usual suspects: REX, Ultimate Terrain, FlyTampa, PMDG.Thanks for viewing.S.Reynolds
