The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I am so impressed by you guys nailing all those nice shots of your flights. How do I go about doing this the best way, should I use FRAPS? Secondly, how do you position "the camera" for shooting for instance a "smoking" landing? In that time I am very busy and I dont get how I could manage to switch views Thanks, Morten

Note ; I am aware of the existence of the screenshot forums, and I agree that there is a suitable place to put this topic, however, I am requesting dispensation therefore allowing this topic to be continued on this section of the forums. If my requests are denied then I will gladly continue the post on the Screenshot forum, thanks guys! Okay so, hi all, today I came to the conclusion that I am growing bored of my normal routine of flights. I think we all reach that stage in time where we we get at least a bit tired of doing the same flight over and over again, no matter how much of an enthusiast you are. Some time last week, I was browsing videos on our almighty YouTu…

Seems ATC doesn't like business jets too much. Citation X and company Boeing 777-200ER are both descending. Now he's over there. What is ATC doing here. And so now I'm turning away from him. Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, a BBJ2 along with a United Boeing 767-300ER. That's cutting it somewhat close. Also encountered a company Boeing 757-200.

Just a couple departure shots from a couple days ago to a couple weeks ago. Interesting. JetBlue baggage cars being pulled by a United tractor at the Delta terminal at JFK. Taking off out of 31 left for Aspen. Some international heavies here. Overflying JFK. Top of the morning for this Boeing 747-400 as it prepares for a flight out to San Francisco in the morning. By sunrise, this flight's ready to go. Turning onto runway 8 right as an Air Canada Boeing 767-300ER overflies the runway to head on down to 4 right. Airborne and gear up. Cruising at 35,000 feet as we cross the Pacific. Quite the power a lightly loaded BBJ2 ha…

...for sharing his great REX winter texture set (in this topic: http://forum.avsim.n...-waste-of-time/ ) I present you some winter screenshots! It's been snowing heavily where I live so I decided to change the FSX-date for a chance. ^_^ And of course also thanks to REX for sending me a dvd (free of charge!!!) with the Overdrive update (which I needed for this texture set) because downloading didn't work. And while I am at it... thanks to OpusFSX for the best weather engine ever, Orbx for England (which is a thousand times more fun to fly above then I ever expected: bring on Wales and Scotland, please!) and RealAir for the best GA ever, the Lancair Legacy. Hope I didn't fo…

Did a nice flight from ESSA to LFPO today with the always reliable 737NGX. Descending from FL360 In the distance, you can see the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower. Landing on runway 02. I favor VMC-mode on the HGS if visibility is not an issue, nice and decluttered display. :Nerd: Thanks for taking your time
