The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Still fooling a bit with photoscenery. Here's just one from the North Georgia mountains at Brasstown Bald. The image data looks to be from the middle of autumn, so I turned off the autogen trees so their green color wouldn't clash with the reds in the texture.

Flying the friendly skies. A bit of activity going on in San Francisco. Welcome to paradise. Chilling at Honolulu. Parked at JFK and getting ready for some international flights. Huge international departure line over at 22 right at JFK.

I took this screenshot this morning. It was taken from the tower at Rankin Inlet, Canada (CYRT). As luck would have it, the aircraft, a Captain Sim C-130H, happened to be aligned with the setting Moon as the landing gear retracted after takeoff.

I haven't had a flight sim installed in months. Then the other day while I was here posting I actually added up how much money I spent this hobby.. Yep... I decided I probably should put some of that money back into use. Oof I spent a lot. After a few gigs grabbing Prepar3D and more gigs of scenery, and getting my favorite birds I took up one of my favorite birds in one of my personal repaints for my inaugural first flight back from sim vacation! And what better way to get reacquainted than kicking the old gal on over
