Announcing the opening of Outrigger Air Service. In a time when large steam engines could pull passengers and cargo anywhere in the U.S., the airlines were in their infancy. With few developed airfields, they relied heavily on flying boats and amphibious planes for their long distance flights. We are simulating that golden era of flight. We are a small virtual airline simulating the pre and post World War II era. Flying mail and pasengers in the Pacific Islands, Alaska, China, Australia, New Zealand, and now featuring "Flying the Hump", an adventure for the DC-3 pilots. Our long-haul aircraft is the Boeing B314 Clipper.Come visit us and join up at www.outriggerair.com

It seems as though there is a missing airline in the VA world... that being US Airways. Sites and USAir VA's have come and gone, but none seem to stay.*Is there an interest in a professionally run US Airways-based VA? If you have an interest, reply or ship over an email ([email protected])... I'm just curious as to how receptive our VA community would be to a US Airways VA. -Greg

Hello to you all!I would love it to create my own Virtual Airline, with a great, magnificant looking site and, of course, people who would like to join ;)The fact is, too build, AND stay exist, you need help. It is not possible to do all things and stuff by yourself. My question is, are there any people here who would like to join the staff, and, above all :(, don't feel bad about me as a Staff Director/Airline director (ai, that's the bad news :D).I need people who like to get work and time in it, and can build websites (1 or 2 people for the website, of course everybody (staff members) can vote on the look, I will cut the rope, but it will be fair. The airline will be as…

Membership of Dan Air is not needed. Just click and fly.Entire fleet is now ready for download. As the only British VA operating the 727, and our range of aircraft from the BAC1-11 to the A310 - you'll find the fleet quite diverse. For those wanting permenant membership, as always, applications are always welcomed. How many of you would be interest in a VA NOT based on a real world carrier? This virtual airline is nearly ready to go. It's a French virtual airline based at Paris Orly flying ONLY long-haul international and inter-european flights...no domestic flights for now. What do you all think? I shall make an official press release in a few weeks as opening nears. Our role-models are Virgin Atlantic and American Airlines...if you can envision their business values and image...similar...but of course way cooler :)
