Hi, newbie here returning to MSFS after a stunning 5 year hiatus (last version I had was FS 98 - now I have FS9!).When I was last involved in flight simming, I was a member of a really cool & different VA. Basically, you flew shady flights in a beat-up, unreliable DC-3 - delivering drugs, mostly, as I remember. You had a co-pilot to keep you in line on these missions. You had to follow a strict course or your virtual co-pilot might plug you with a pistol! For example, often you had to keep a low altitude in order to evade radar detection. There was even a "cheat" key where you could punch the co-pilot if he cheesed you off!Does this VA ring a bell with anyone? I…

Hi all,I am looking for a VA to join, but am not sure which one - there are a lot of them out there...Here is what I am looking for:- I am new to online flying, so a VA with basic pilot training/intro docs would be nice (does anybody have any links to intros independent from VAs?).- I use FS2004, so it should be a VA with 2004-tested or even 2004-developed airplanes- I am more familiar with prop planes than jets, so there should be at least some (maybe smaller) prop airplanes in the fleet- West coast as (main) area of operations would be nice also (California, etc), maybe Hawaii?- Do all VAs allow online and offline (just file Pirep) flights, or are some of them only one …

Arabian Airlines is happy to announce that it will soon introduce Live Streaming inflight entertainment for all flights on Arabian Airlines. The new service, which will launch within the next few days, can and will be available to all pilots (not just arabian airlines). The station called interconnection will play music from all over the world, and will be hosted by web DJs. The airline's goal is to have this station playing 24/7 with live and pre recorded programs. This is a big step for Arabian Airlines, which is in a slight crisis regarding it's automation system developed by Eastern VA. Ths system is still not yet complete, however the airline does still have faith that…
