Just recently every time I use FS2020 my graphics settings are changed to what I think is default settings. Alter them back to my options click and save next time i fire up the sim changed again happened 3 or 4 times, sometimes this happened with updates but these changes are happening without sim updates. Changed CFG file to read only to prevent further occurrences got me thinking if the CFG file is corrupted if I delete it does the sim rebuild it on next start up? Have FS2024 on a different drive. Has this occurred with anyone else? Regards Nic

Hi all, Recently downloaded fs2024 and have just got around to setting up all my hardware. Everything works fine apart from my Haptic Seat pad.... which works fine in FS 2020. I start off a flight on the runway for example then initiate the the HF8 but nothing comes through the seat. Am i missing something with the new sim, googled for any advice but have come up with nothing. Any help would be appreciated if anyone has any advice. Regards

Down loaded content manager addons no luck, also disabled community folder no luck. Couple of other guys over on the Flight Simulator forum had this issue a few weeks ago, they still have not been able to eradicate them. Oh well will get rid of the ASOBO deluxe version and go with the vanilla version which seems to be OK. Thank you for all your suggestions. Regards

Hello all, Really pleased with the update everything was going swimmingly until I plugged in a flight originating at the default EHAM. All the dammed buildings were pink with the chequerboard pattern. Removed the airport from the Steam library and let the sim rebuild the airport...No Joy. Rebuilt the fs-base file... No Joy. Checked Console in Developer Mode and it shows error messages in relation to missing textures for this particular airport, too many to count. I cannot understand why if I delete and then rebuild the file all the missing textures are not added!!! Is there anything else I can try in order to solve this issue. Really do not want to do a re-install, so was thinking of Purchasing the FT EHAM which I hope will overwrite Asobos offering would I be right in thinking this? Thank You Regards

Just did a test and it would appear that BATC and AIG do have an adverse effect on performance... EDDF (Virtual FRA) without traffic 40-42 FPS. With injected traffic (set at 4) dropped to 24 FPS, shut down BATC back to 40s, I am aware that AIG have a bigger performance hit compared to FSTL or so I am led to believe. Will wait to see what the next updates bring BATC is to good a program and the developers give great support, so in my view a minor hiccup that I have no doubt will be sorted. Regards

Bought 2024 this week still have 2020, as HS118 stated just setting up 2024 and flying for short hops in GA aircraft testing controls, graphic settings etc. Still use 2020 for IFR tube flying. Regards

Hi everyone, Have a small issue with the cabin announcements on both the s/l and wing fence models. They have gone missing. Have the relevant Fenix app in the sound mixer up to full volume, and the folders are present for the various airlines. All relevant switches are open and set to full volume on the radio pedestal. All folders are marked correctly to the A/C config file. I noticed this after downloading the S/L update. Anyone else have this issue. Thank you Regards

Has anybody had the issue of the 72-600F and the 42 STOL having the props in full reverse even though at notch power setting. Graphically the plane is flying at normal power but the aircraft has its prop blades pitched in reverse thrust, and not a normal spinning disc in that the blades appear stationary. Tried uninstall no luck, have I missed something? Original install of 42/72 have normal prop disk.

Hi all, Have a weird problem with BATC which occurred mid flight. My hot key stopped working, so went into the BATC screen and the hot key and UI ping work fine. Went into MSFS nothing no ping no comms. Restarted computer and both programs Then tried ATIS frequency in sim that was fine, opened up BATC screen again and requested push and start fine, when the sim is open no go, no ping or comms. Changed comm button to mouse button unassigned anywhere else still no go. Anyone have any ideas before I re-install BATC to see if that solves the problem. Thank You

I know this is an old topic but I wonder if any one can help me. On ILS approach I arm the localiser the aircraft captures it but then proceeds to turn left and right and does not settle on the beam. Last night tried to arm APPR earlier than normal same deal. I do not have any Heavy Mod installed in the aircraft only cockpit textures (v1.1.1) Aircraft version is v1.1.2. I have tried in vain to find any info on this as I recall in the past another user had the same issue. Thank you Regards
