Just had two friends perform the above fix and both of their Yokes are working perfectly now. How Thrustmaster overlooked this detail is beyond me. Hot glueing the ribbon cable to prevent movement fixed all the issues.

I know this is an old topic but I wanted to share the latest update. I started having the issue again, even with the magnets and I was about to give up on my Boeing yoke when I came across this video. I decided to give it a try and it works perfectly now. After following the video and then running the TM Yoke calibration instruction, my X&Y Axis are dead on. No more drift or spikes while moving the yoke.

This is why I hate the Marketplace, slow updates. iniBuilds sent out an email last week announcing the 1.0.2 update and we have to wait for MP to release it. These initial updates are important as they are fixing items that many user are reporting. I’m sure there is another update in works.

Currently I'm using the Thrustmaster Boeing Throttle. It works fine for Boeings but I want something that is a little more dual purpose. I've been eyeing the Moza MTQ. I've read and watched mixed reviews. Does anyone here have one and what do you think about it?

Is there any feedback yet on the Beautiful Model of the World Hollywood Burbank KBUR? It's priced pretty good and includes the new terminal. The Orbx KBUR is pretty outdated. I only found one user showcasing it on an xbox.

WOW, this actually works really well. What kind of black magic is this? I'm running 40 FPS x 3 X(FG) for 120FPS. It very seldom drops. The sim is butter smooth regardless of airport or amount of traffic. I'm going to keep runing this for the next few flights. I'm really impressed with the results.

I wonder what PMDG's resoning was to make the 737-800 High Detail update last in the lineup? The -800 is by far the most popular model. That last line "we hope to have the 737-800 in testing not long after" gives me flash backs when they talked about the 737-700 for MSFS2024 😱. Several months later the -700 is finally happening. I hope the 777 family gets the High Detailed Texture update.

Now we’re at the mercy of the Marketplace as to when the update will be available.

I found that if you hit the APU start button and then the APU stop button, the APU will shut down.

They said it will come out later on the iniStore. Then you can have it transfered from the Marketplace. That IS the only reason I am buying it on release day. Otherwise it would have been a hard pass until it showed up on the iniStore. They did that with the A340.

Day one purchase for me as the L-1011 has always been my favorite aircraft growing up. I've had the pleasure of flying on the Delta L-1011 sever times. I’m also excited to fly something besides the standard magenta line. Last time I flew a sim aircraft with INS was the Ready for Pushback 747-200 in FSX.

Yes it was, there was also the The Ghost of Flight 401 and a few others, see below. There was a TV movie and a book on 401 which I read and watched. The L-1011 is a day one purchase for me even though I hate using the Marketplace. I will transfer it later. My last flight on a L-1011 was from Atlanta to Frankfurt. Good to know. I was unaware of this as I don't own the A340. Everything iniBuild has produced, I have purchased directly from them. I avoid the Marketplace at all cost. It's such a pain dealing with or getting ahold of someone at MS when you have issues or you can't purchase something due to a glitch on there end.

I'm watching. I'm disappointed that the initial release will be on the Marketplace only in the beginning. I hate Marketplace as it's slow to get updates and there were times where I couldn't purchase items due to a MP glitch. I've even repurchased items when they became available on the Devs internal applications just so I didn't have to deal with MP. Such a shame to have to wait a few months to enjoy the L-1011. Only way I'll buy it is I can transfer it off Marketplace when it comes to the iniManager.

This whole topic has shifted away from the L-1011 to, MSFS2020 vs MSFS2024, DC-10 vs L-1011. Can we get back on topic for those of us who are interested in the upcoming release. For anyone who is a Delta L-1011 fan, here is a link to the entire Delta L-1011 Fleet listing.

Wait until the modern pilots aka Children of the Magenta Line, try there hands at using the INS system to navigate. I can see the new pilot on vatsim getting lost or confused when they are given a "direct to" or "cross xxxx at" from ATC. Granted iniBuild added a GPS and other features but this plane will be a learning curve for those who only know the FMC/MCDU and the Magenta Line. For those who master it, it will bring a whole new level of immersion to the hobby.
