I have both the 757 and 767 which i love, i am tempted with the 777 but am unsure if 8GB of Vram will be enough (RTX 2080). I just use default airports as i'm impressed with them and fly in 1080P resolution.

I been thinking about getting the QW 787 to add to my 757 as i really enjoy flying that aircraft. I use Simbrief for my flight planning and am pretty sure there are profiles for both aircraft :).

Hi Ray I was quite late to the party for P3D so i missed out on all of the PMDG aircraft apart from the 737. I used the QW 757 for my trip across the pond and really enjoyed the flight. My payware airports are mainly in Europe and I have a couple in the states so will need to invest in some more but its definitely something i want to do this year 🙂

what a great idea! Last year i achieved doing my first transatlantic flight (EGKK to KBOS) a world tour is another on my simulator bucket list.

Hi I use the excellent AIG traffic for P3D V4.5 as i found Ultimate Traffic Live a bit disappointing and very out of date. I still dabble in flying FSX from time to time and I wondered if its at all possible to get AIG traffic working in FSX so i can ditch UTL entirely. I know the one click install method does not work ( I only use BGL flightplans). Is it possible at all to use the flight plans and models from my P3D installation in FSX? and if so how would this be done? I am not sure if this is possible but I thought no harm in asking, Kind regards Darran

2025 was the year I actually bought Xplane 12 and i have been very impressed! I hope you all have a great Christmas and a happy new year.

Thanks for the heads up, just bought the Toliss A319 my first Airbus for Xplane. Hopefully I can find some good tutorials as i have a lot of learning to do.

I second the opinion that the default airports are really good. I haven't bought a single airport add on for X Plane 12

I did this about a month ago moving from and HDD to an SSD the only 100 percent safe way is to uninstall all your 3rd party add ons first then P3D and reinstall P3D and slowly one by one your third party add ons.

I've never flown the Airbus A330, now could be a good time to try and learn it.

I also got a bit fed up with the constant unfinished state of releases as well as the whole upgrading hardware every few years. My system is nearly 6 years old now and i mainly fly P3D, a bit of X plane but i still come back to FSX i'm still very happy with how it performs. Even though I have been flying FSX since 2013 I have learned i still have much to learn and enjoy the process (sure it can be frustrating at time but the reward feeling when you have mastered something is pretty cool). I didn't realise this lossless scaling app works with FSX so think i will give that a try out too, I am about to (hopefully) start to learn how to fly this lovely aircraft from PMDG, i have heard this is one of the best add-ons ever made.

I hope someone can help as i am a bit lost ( i am still very new to the world of Xplane) and at the moment have a fairly simple installation with just the ZIBO mod and FF 757 I have downloaded the program and I have noted that i need a couple of prerequisites FlywithLUA Simple Ground Equipment & Services. At the moment i don't have these so I have also downloaded them, right now i have hit a bit of a wall as i don't know what to do next. I note from my XPlane 12 installation i already have something called Xlua 1.3.0r1 running ( i believe this is for the Zibo 737). Does the Xlua need replacing? Can anyone help me with the next steps (Moderators please feel free to separate into a separate topic if required). kind regards Darran

As a recent newcomer to XPlane i completely agree i have been truly blown away by how awesome the sim looks out of the box. I still fly FSX/P3D but i can definitely see myself spending more time in this awesome sim. The community seems awesome too!

As a long time FSX/P3D user i also like to keep an eye on the other sims. I bought Xplane 12 fairly recently and it looks amazing! so I've managed to download the Level up 737-800NG (I still can't get my head around the fact that its free!) now all i need to do is learn how to fly it. Can anyone recommend any good tutorials that i can get started with. I'm still fairly new to tubeliners having flown the QW757 in FSX/P3D and have never flown any PMDG aircraft so I am not sure where to start. Any advice would greatly be appreciated as i take my first steps in the world of Xplane Kind regards Daz
