  1. I'm a Solus OS user and installed MSFS 2024 a month or so ago. Have to admit, its runs well but of course you're limited to market place. The intro animations was all static for some reason, but once the program finished loading the assets, it was all fine.

  3. Eeks....$45 after the discount? Should really be in the $25 or so neighborhood. The improvements are great, but not $45 great.
  4. Thats pretty wild if the AI ATC programs cannot access either the sim's elevation or real world since they're basically the same. In the USA, MVA/MIA/MOCA maps are easily found in digital form. Globally, you'd think simple standard lat/long grids with highest elevation noted. Add 1000/2000 feet above for terrain clearance and you're good. Vectoring vs Non-Radar is tricky I assume because that data probably difficult to find....and predicting if an airport has radar vectoring available probably is a hands on one-by-one method.
  5. At this point it's almost as if they intentionally stop short of avionics completion...as if they know 90% of their customers wont even notice. What percentage of MSFS players actually use and know what an LPV approach is? I bet most just use the external camera and buzz around at full power doing loops anyway....
  6. Never flown a beech in real life, I notice the beech airspeed indicators usually have a white triangle. Any idea what that speed means?

  9. Let me be more specific maybe....when I zoom in around the C210/BE33/C182 cockpit instruments, they seem to be at a higher resolution than the P28B. The cockpit textures, as in the trim and vinyl are standard, but the gauge faces are less...no?
  10. Anybody else having resolution issues with the Dakota? The 210 panel is pretty as ca be but the Dakota seems to have less texture quality? Is that because it's free?

  14. The above mentioned post is...well...just a little over the top. But through the rambling, lies truth: 2024 is been a disaster, a disappointment, incomplete, half baked, managerial misstep nightmare. Beyond that, y'all just kidding yourself to protect your egos. -The whole career thing should have been an add-on for ancillary revenue. -Too many planes...which was mismanaged. -Seasons should have been just added to 2020 and called it 2024. The 2024 rest is literally unnecessary nonsense
  15. Is it my imagination or does the carenado fleet seem suddenly over powered? Can the 337 really climb 1000 a minute at 10,000 feet? The 182RG has the same boost in performance too.

  20. Yikes...heads are gonna roll at Asobo. Well at least they should. 2024 is a nearly a disaster due to poor project and scope management.
  21. Anybody notice the propeller control is reversed? High pitch vs low pitch is reversed....full forward control should be low pitch and full back should be high pitch.
  22. Utterly absurd....how embarrassing. They created a project with an unachievable goal. Basic project management would have been to scale down the drastic aircraft/aerodynamics model and UI, instead just focused on making 2020 v2 with seasons, satellite map upgrades and career modes.
  23. DA40NG FLC button nose up/nose down in the G1000 is reversed. Nose up should command slower airspeed not faster. Fuel pressure zero. Speed tape ranges on G1000 don't match analog airspeed.
