  1. I am observing quite drastic improvement in aircraft behavior in the air and on the ground There used to be big problem of aircraft pumping up and down, extremely annoying. The way I understand it was because of low quality of data coming from RT. In V14 I haven’t yet seen that behavior so I’m suspecting that Niko has put a lot of time in smoothing out data points or RT quality have drastically improved. It used to be very immersion killer, seeing aircraft, jumping up and down on a descend or even in level flight and now it almost is as good as it used to be in the beginning . Congratulation, Niko and highly appreciate it how you’re constantly making an effort to improve the experience mike
  2. PSXT and LiveATC is my favorite combination. I have tried all kinds of other injectors and ATC simulations, and all of it is extremely unreliable and frustrating PSXT is untouchable for injection and if I want life interaction Vatsym is the only way. As a fly, mostly GA's, I can slot myself into the real world traffic, listening to lifeATC and observing aircraft out of the window. For now that’s the best way.
  3. When I first start PSXT, everything is green, but after sometime RT turns yellow yet everything seems to be continuing working. RT stays yellow I did notice in the log some errors, but I don’t know what they mean and how to fix it if it’s needed Attaching log file TH mike
  4. I really like the way it’s set up now. On my older system I set up 50 for range and 50 for maximum this way outside busy areas. I can see contrails far away but when it gets busy, it doesn’t bug out my system. Not a bad idea to customize by inputting specific number for both in preferences, and if that is done on the display, it will automatically pop out as custom mike
  5. if it’s not in the log somewhere, it could be tricky for me to trace it since the PSXT is running behind the simulator and sometimes I’m flying through empty areas. mike
  6. I am suspecting that occasionally I lose momentarily connection, even though it is quite fast. And it is not reconnecting to traffic after that.
  7. ==> re-authentication to RT API is needed, restart PSXT The Traffic Reader has stopped with an error I am getting some of this error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled clean. I have received quite a few of those. Here is my log mike
  8. I didn’t mean to have reloading of the aircraft as a solution to light inconsistency, only as testing observation I am not using any AIG models mike
  9. my post is directed to Nico He will understand better my train of thought mike
  10. I am talking about life aircraft not parked I have not mentioned anything about parked aircraft mike
  11. Niko I know that it seems like beating a dead horse but I have an observation about some aircraft not showing lights I don’t think it’s just the delay but the fact that specific type is loaded for the first time It seems like for some of them loading a second and consecutive of the same shows the lights that’s why when I observed around 737s or C172s with neighbors of the same type appearing at the scene the lights are on but some obscure rarely appearing type will be without lights unless I reload quickly the program I tried this several times when I saw on the radar aircraft not showing lights I quickly restarted PSTX and every time the lights are on. So the quick reloading of the same type model guarantee lights appearance. You have been making our beloved PSTX better and this is why I’m mentioning it. Maybe it will help mike
  12. I observe similar phenomenon I’m getting big airliner from FedEx at Ramona KRNM small GA Airport I’m suspecting it has parking spots for big enough plane but how do I manually adjuste it It looks real silly mike
  13. I am using nice selection from IVAO It works mike
  14. Greaser is kind of expression when the landing is very well done. You holding aircraft just of the surface until touchdown is so gentle that only a chirp of tires and shake of spinning wheels is indication you actually on the ground. mike
  15. I have seen some tremendous behavior by aircraft. As long as the data from RT is decent I’ve seen some greasers. So here you are taxing and looking at approaching aircraft on final with the lights on blasting and then curving beautifully into a flare holding the nose up and gently putting it down, spoilers go out, it is just superb. Take off angle is perfect. I am experiencing great joy and not only in the big airports , I was just in NZ in a small provincial field and a commuter turboprop came in with perfect flair and wonderful behavior made a turn back taxi to make its way to a parking spot. Thank you Nico for your hard work and providing us with this superb experiences mike
  16. For me the way it is set up now works perfectly because I fly smaller forms , but I can see usefulness of being able to put in destination and parking spot which software will put into my "my_park_airports.txt" file and updated it for now and future references. If somebody doesn’t put in destination again and fly to the airport the previously assigned spot will be reserved , but it can be updated if you need it. I can see usefulness of it. Initially that’s what I envisioned. Keeping the destination ability for detail assignment. mike
  17. I think the light effect loading still needs to be delayed slightly After very tedious observations I clearly can see on some models lights loading or not depending on some thing so what I did is I observed a specific model without lights and then very quickly restarted PSXT and the lights came on on that model. I have definitely observed different behavior after restarting very quickly mike
  18. it’s working quite well I created smaller files that only include “local airports". One for US ,EU ,AU ,NZ and Pacific. And then I made a bat file to activate which ever I’m planning to fly in mike
  19. initial flying over KPDX and YSSY looks very promising. It keeps the life traffic active on the ground below and then loads the parking wen very close to the airport so I think that’s why the performance might not be a big problem I hope. With my very modest system I didn’t notice any deterioration Very initial testing Love it… Because I want all the airports to load when I’m flying over I created an my_park_airports.txt file that includes all my airports that I derived from the stock list. mike
  20. where are the presets stored locally in the numeric form so they can be fine tuned since it is impossible fine tune using the GUI also being able to make adjustments to other peoples presets and then save them for personal use or to share (?) mike
  21. that is a great news Thank you Nico Standing by with anticipation.... mike
