  1. Hi there, after updateing the T7 and the OC I have following Problem with my Flood Lights: As you can see the pedestal floods are full bright and the lower MIP as well and the lower DU surrounding as well and the MCP. All flood light knobs are at the lowest on position this means the first on position. I cannot dim them until the max position where the MIP gets bright. Its more like on or off :( Happens to all liveries after OC and T7 update. I did uninstalled the Livery I am flying before updateing OC etc... Then after T7 and OC updates I downloaded the updated livery I fly again and updated what was neccessary according PMDG's advise for the NGX. Any Ideas? Again this happens also to the stock liveries... Rgds, PC
  2. It's all about practise and the right viewpoint +1 for the PDF Rgds, PC
  3. Normally I locked it with the NVIDIA Driver to 35 and there it stays everytime. Just unlocked it and get up to 60 fps inflight and up to 40 on ground at Mega Airport Barcelona. Using ASN, REX, ORBX Global + Vector, EZDOK, TRACKIR, Shade, ENB, AES, PFPX, and of yourse the T7 AMD FX8350, GTX770, Win7 64, 8 gig
  4. I am also using Inspector but never found an option there to limit FPS. Where would that be? Rgds, PC
  5. Mike is right, you will be told how to operate the Q400 from a real pilots point of view! This means, you will be teached what the systems do and when you need them and how to operate in a practical and useful manner! There are no in depth shematics like with AOA but thats perfectly fine as the training will teach and show you everything you need, to operate the Q400 in the Simulator environment like a airline pilot would do. And thats done very nicely!
  6. Good evening Gentlemen, yesterday evening I bought the Cadet Training for the Q400 and wanted to share a few thoughts with you. First of all, sorry if there are any flaws in grammer and such stuff here... Obviously I'm not an english man and therefore not a pro in english language or spelling When I saw the announcement that the program had been released, I couldn't resist! Although I flew the Q400 in the SIM several times and also on VATSIM in different countries I was eager to learn from an actual Q400 Pilot. A friend of mine has flown the Q400 as FO as well until his airline closed recently (maybe someone still knows about Augsburg Airways), but he doesn't have the time to tell such flightsim people like me how to operate like Airlines do, nor does he have time to tell me these good tips you do here! I must admit that I was a bit uncertain what to expect... Although it's really nice and important to know about how each System works in detail I was a bit afraid of those famous AOA System shematics lessons, were they teach you for hours how everything works. As ATC guy I'm more the practical person, so I'm really happy to see that you found a practical and still very immersive and informative way of teaching people how to operate the Q400! I like it being put into the sim and being told more and more with every Video! Thus it's never getting boring and with Josh telling uas many of those rel world Tips and Tricks, it's allways interesting and fun to watch! But I have to admit that at certain times you guys can really be fast in terms of speaking and clicking. For me it's not a problem to follow as I'm very well used to fast talking, but I can imagine for people with less language skills and with less Q400 experience it can be a bit demanding from time to time! You may wanna consider talking a little bit slower in complex situations for next videos but that's just a minor problem for me here All in all it's a very good Set of lessons you put together and it's fun to watch and even when watching twice or a third time there's still something to learn or to find that is usefull! Thank you and thumbs up guys! :good: :good: Rgds from Germany, Patrick
  7. Yes have a look into the OVHD Panel there is knob calles Master brightness. In it's center there is a pushbutton which has to be pulled out a bit to use selective brightnes control. If it's pushed in then the Master Brightness knob will handle Light controls. Rgds, Patrick
  8. yeah! Really looking foreward to release :-) Unfortunately I've got ATC duty including weekend but anyway it will be great to fly it next week B-) Rgds Patrick
  9. Not sure if everything will run on Win8 for FSX! NGX runs like a charm without any problem even when powering up FSX in the morning like today and flying for 7 hours now. But I had the Joystick disconects as well! Configured everything via FSUIPC, switched the FS internal Joystick Controls of and now all works fine I guess the 777 will perform as well as the NGX does on Win8! Rgds, Patrick
  10. Lol it hasn't! No hint on website or somewhere else! Rgds, Patrick
  11. Heyo, nothing to do with weather or Autopilot, because weather I treid with or without ASE and many WX settings! Ap is off and FD as well as I flew manually so Target Speed ect can be disregarded as A/T was off as well! However i found the solution already Somehow the FSUIPC.ini file influenced the NGX, I deleted it and FSUIPC created a new one, now it works again!!!! Strange and somehow annoying because I had to setup FSUIPC again from scratch but working now! Thanks for comments ans help anyway! Problem solved! Kind Rgds, Patrick
  12. Hi there people, got some strange and serious problem here with my NGX! Doesn't matter which Model or paint I select the NGX wont accellerate anay more and therefore doesn't climb and has a very strange attitude in the air! Here a picture of hwat happens : 737-900WL ZFW and TOW etc as on the FMC set with PMDG FMC not with TOPCAT! See for yourself....I have no Idea what can cause this.. Flaps and spoilers are retracted of course and Gear is up Using ActiveSky evolution for weather but this also happens without it and this problem is not occuring on other aircraft like MD-11 or 747 Thanks for Help Kind Rgds, Patrick
  13. Guys you are amazing! :-D Bought a new Laptop last week and because I'm running FSX only now, I am happy to see this great progress! still enjoying the 737 so much and looking foreward to this new amazing bird! Rgds Patrick C.
  14. Rgr ;) So lets wait for the FSLabs A320 then. Rgds, Patrick
  15. Will there be an Airsimmer Fs2Crew edition as well? Couldnt find any info about it here. Kind Rgds, Patrick
  16. One Word : AMAZING! After I have solved my Reboot Issue (in fact it was the sound Card which failed to work and therefore rebooted my system) I now have tuned my FSX a bit to run the NGX! Well my old System is a DualCore E2750 OC at 2x3GHz with 2 Gigs Ram an NVIDIA GTX260 and WINXP 32 Bit!Although these are quiet minimum Specs I reach between 20 and 30 FPS in STD Scenery!Thats just amazing guys! I already did my first Flight from EDDK to EDDF very successfully with absoluteley no glitch at all!VNAV worked perfect as well as LNAV and even autoland! Now this is a real genious work guys, Thank YOU!!! Regarding my System although its running I'd like to tune it to the following parts: i52400KAsus P8P67 LE V3Corsair 8Gig Dual ChannelWin7 64 Home Prem These parts are about 400€ and would replace my old parts! You think its worth the money? Rgds, Patrick
  17. Yes the same here but I think its some weird FSX Bug when you have highly detailed Virtual Cockpits with clickspots!Don't think anyone can fix this ever really! Rgds, Patrick
  18. The Sounds I mentioned are the normal NGX sounds like Packs Enginges etc.... they are running normal! Drivers are up to date yes! Rgds, Patrick
  19. Hey guys ;) Following Problem here: After I load the NGX everything seems normal for about 5-10 seconds.Thereafter the Computer reboots completely on its own and without any warning or error! I tried other AC as well but they dont!I can hear the NGX loading the sounds etc and then....reboot! As I have a 32Bit OS I looked up my RAM and GPU Memory during loading etc and had plenty of both left!I had 500MB RAM free after loading the NGX and it only Used 32% GPU RAM! CoreTemp was 55° and the Frames were between 20 and 30 somewhere! I applied the Highmemfix but no help :( Specs: Core2Duo6750 @ 2x3GHz (20-30 FPS ;) )Nvidia GTX260 1Gig2 Gigs Ram (still half a gig free after loading all!)Win XP Sp3 32Bit I know its not the best system these days but even in FSX the FPS are OK and According EasyToolz and NvidiaInspector there is no running out of memory! Maybe someone has an Idea! Rgds, Patrick EDIT: I already reinstalled the NGX without success and played with different FSX settings as well without success!
  20. Did you forgot to retract flaps? :D
  21. Yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERT AND ALL THE BEST FROM GERMANY Rgds, Patrick
  22. Hey Christos, what you are asking for is not an easy Question to awnser! You have to distinguish between many aspects of flying an Airliner! Many of the simulated Add-Ons are nearly 100% system simulations these days and therefore good to get a feeling oh how complex an Airliner can be! Optical the quality is in many cases brilliant and close to real ones! What is missing in any case is the real flying! You'll never have the 100% feeling of flying and feeling an Airliner! Aerodynamics and physical behaviour is difficult to simulate and not close to reality in most of the Add Ons! A light wind drift during approach, thermals, ground effect etc.... many things hard to simulate in FS if its possible to get them done at all! Well I'm not an Airliner pilot but Air Traffic Controller but here comes my expertise regarding online flying ;) And there reality is pretty good these days! Of course the traffic isn't as much as in real and many procedures we apply are simply not suitable for Flightsimming but however many Air Traffic Controllers working on VATSIM or IVAO are doing a great job! Hope that helps a bit! Rgds, Patrick
  23. I already have the iFly 737X as I also own the FS9 Version! However FPS are a Problem for me though! I really hpoe the NGX will perform like the MD-11 or better as the MD-11 is working really smooth also on my modest Dual Core System even at Airports like EDDF or ESSA etc...Rgds, Patrick
